We paid in full for this vehicle with a personal check on 5/29/16. They check was cashed on 5/31/16. A week before the temporary tags were set to expire, we contacted them because we had not received the vehicle title to get license plates. After multiple phone calls to them that went unanswered, I finally heard back from a woman who worked in their "title department". She basically made it sound like the guy who did our paperwork "missed" something and she was in contact with him. She assured me it would be resolved in a few business days. She told us to go to the BMV to pay for what she called a "hardship temporary tag extension". We did so. Now, our second set of tags expires tomorrow. I have contacted them 6 times in the last 24 hours and no one will return my calls.

New vehicle not even 2 months old and into service for transmission issues. They were not eager to give any assurance that vehicle is fine. Vehicle sluggish, obvious periodic missing of gears when starting into drive. Not even sure they drove it. Relied only on system readouts.

I have only driven Toyota's for the past 30 years and have purchased them at every Columbus dealer....I have found this dealership to be the most professional and the service dept is the best....excellent prompt complete service everytime I have an appointment....I know the dealership is far for those in Northwest Cols but it is worth the trip...they answer questions and troubleshoot potential problems/needs without the ''you HAVE to buy or have this done TODAY'' mantra so often found in the other dealerships in this city ( to avoid confusion...I purchased this car from this dealership in May of 2015)

I took my 2016 Toyota Tocaoma in because it idles high and lunges when in drive and reverse, and is constantly searching for gears . The truck only has 3,500 miles on it, and should not be running so sporadically. The mechanic said that the truck did not show any issues when he test drove it, and when he hooked it up to their computer. I felt like he was calling me a liar, since the truck had issues the entire drive to the dealership. I mentioned to both the salesman and the mechanic that the truck almost lunged through the parking gate where I work. Neither one seemed phased by this. I asked the machanic if this could be a safety issue, and he said "No". Really?? The mechanic did admit that he has received several complaints from customers experiencing the same problem. I have been a Chevy driver my entire life, but liked the style of the Tacoma and it's mid-size. I am currently regretting my choice in switching to Toyota. The dealership provided poor customer service, and is not standing behind their product. Avoid this dealership!!

I just receive an oil change and the bill was over $80.00. Toyota does well but I think I will go else where for oil changes one in a while. Plus they charge so much for a car wash, ridiculous!

Ive purchase 2 brand new vehicle's from Toyota scion west and have had an OK experience when I bring in my car for services. I don't expect much but getting an oil change should not take 1hr and 39mins. Normally it would only take 30 min and I would be out. But this time I had asked for a car wash since it was a courtesy by the dealership...so I'm thinking it took another hour to do so which I don't think it would be acceptable. The advisor told me it would add another mins, when I dropped the vehicle off and waited in lobby. But that wasn't the case. But overall I'm OK with the overall service because they apologize for the wait time.

Bought one car from them last year and all was fine. Went to buy another one this year. Traded in a vehicle. We had agreed on a price for my trade over the phone pending them seeing the car. After getting to the dealership was told the value of my car was $1500 less because it had manufacturer recalls and even though I had all them done they say that makes the car of less value. I had paper work showing all recalls completed. I laughed in their faces. Now that is a new sales tactic!

We went to look at a Toyota sienna, test drove it and really liked it. We were ready to buy until it came to our trade in. The manager came back with a rediculas price. Wanted to give $4000 for my trade and then told me that they couldn't find anything even close to my trade for less than $12000. Talking about an insult. I guess we will be shopping elsewhere.

I got a car in may, told my sales person along with the finance guy I was moving back to ohio, instead they filled out everything for IL and then didnt charge me sales tax, took me 2 times to get the title ( which kelly was the only one who was helpful at all) Ive been in there 5 times and have made lots of calls which no one answers or calls you back.... I need my title to be fixed because Ohio wont give me plates and my 30 day tags expire tomorrow!! but I cant get them because the wrong address is on there so I was told to park the car until things get fixed so I am parking a car and not driving it and still paying an arm and a leg for it but cant drive it?? when it was the dealerships fault to begin with?? if their people would actually listen to their customers they wouldnt have an issue.....

I have bought 2 toyotas from this place so I thought I would go back I have never been treated so badly in my life from the top down I will never be back when the salesman says to you that he thought you were smarter than that just cause I look at other brands and the high pressure sales that I received wanting me to pull the trigger on a deal without consulting with my wife first and not liking the idea of me thinking about it first telling me the deal might not be here tomorrow I ultimately purchased a vehicle from a different manufacturer that has a dealership close to toyota west

After leaving a review on here, I was asked to contact one of the sales managers. I called yesterday at about 12 and asked who the sales manager on duty was. I was told that Aaron Crum was available yesterday, I was transferred to his phone. He did not pick up so I left a voicemail. I waited all day yesterday and today, no one bothered to return my call which made me more upset than how I was 2 days ago. I am really shocked because I have serviced my car at Toyota West since I moved to Hilliard. I thought I would be treated better. I am also embarrassed because I am trying to help my brother buy a Toyota and I have told him that he would be happy with Toyota West and their professionalism. I guess, it is time to take my business somewhere else!

I have always used Toyota West to service my car. However, after what happened last Friday. I do not need anything to do with such a dealership. Last Friday, I inquired about a car I saw on here. Chad called me confirming that car was available and I made an appointment to see it the same day. He called me at around 10 AM and my appointment was set for 4 PM. I went in at 4 and Hussain was assigned to help me. He kept looking for the car on their system through my last name and my cell phone #. Then he asked about the color and car year. He could not find it. Then, he stopped and said "Oh, we sold that car". I was just surprised and I asked "why didn't you guys call me? I would have never showed up." No one bothered to call me or anything, they just let me drive and they wasted my time. Above all, I did not get the car I wanted! I have been so upset! I am not sure how seriously they take people who inquire about cars but they should have realized that I am one of their loyal customers, unfortunately, after how I was treated, not anymore!

We bought our used vehicle 4/7, we still do not have all of the paperwork that they were to mail to us, today is 5/20. We had to go back twice due to errors on our financing docs; called multiple times to get the second key fob that they were to mail to us (ended up making extra trip to dealer to pick up); got memorandum title today and it is incorrect. So now it's going to cost me more money to have the title corrected because it has to be done before I can get tags, which is only days away and I certainly can't go back through the dealership as they are not timely!! I won't do business with them again!!

It had been 11 years since I bought a car and I was dreading the whole process. But I was very surprised at how smooth everything went and how friendly everyone was. My salesperson, Brandon was knowledgable about the car I was looking at. He was very friendly. The part I was dreading the most was the finance part. I've encountered arrogant finance people and it's not a pleasant experience. But not here! I was very impressed with Herb in finance. He was very friendly and helped me get the best deal possible. I am truly impressed with Toyota West and everyone that works there. I would definitely recommend them!!

I recently purchased a used car from Toyota West and the experience was wonderful! Brian Delcid was a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable while we waited for financing. We were there several hours because there were so many customers, which was not a problem as Brian kept checking with us to make sure we were fine and let us know how many people were ahead of us and making us feel quite at home. Herb was our finance person and he also was very nice. The car needed a few details taken care of before we received it and everything was completed just as Brian said it would be. The new facility is beautiful and I will definitely recommend Toyota West and Brian Delcid to my family & friends!

Brandon Barnthouse helped me find my new car. I began my search 8 months ago after deciding to look at other brands of cars due to my dissatisfaction with GMC and all the recalls. I told him what I was looking for, he suggested I might want to wait to for the 2015 models to be available. Brandon and I talked a few times while I waited for all the ice and snow to go away, since there was no way I would take a new car out in the slippery streets. We had a great experience. Came to look at a Honda we saw online. Was helped by Justin Humphreys. He was helpful and willing to find us a vehicle we loved and could afford. We left with a newer van that met all of our needs as a family and we even got a dvd entertainment package added on!!!! Awesome for the kids. The facility was nice and very family friendly. We were there a long time as we searched and my children were welcomed and treated so kind. The snacks, toys and tvs were great for them! I was impressed that he was immediately aware of the make and model of car I had purchased there a few years ago (though from a different Jeremy). He confirmed the car was available and asked if he could transfer me to sales-associate Justin Humphreys. Justin made sure the car was detailed and ready for me to inspect when I arrived. We took a test drive and Justin worked with me in the new showroom, presenting my offers and counteroffers to management, until we reached a deal acceptable to me. I just bought a 015 Toyota Tundra that was SWEETLY trimmed out with OSU detailing. My sales person was Justin Coffey. He was not pushy, and just answered my questions without making me uncomfortable. Just ask for him if you want to buy a new vehicle. This is the fourth vehicle that I have purchased from Toyota West since 2006. The sales team, and the service team are the best. I had to get another car after getting into an accident. One of my friends referred me to Toyota West and I was dreading the trip because it is a big dealership. I am a single mom and I think sometimes people try to take advantage. I called first and talked to David Seaman and he was awesome form the beginning. When I first arrived, I told him what I wanted to pay a month, he said "let me see what I can do" When I said can I have it in black, he said "let me see what we have". I have wanted a Toyota Corolla for a few years now and guess what??!! I am driving a BLACK 2014 Corolla with only 7800 miles on it and my payments are the same. I am sooooo happy right now. David Seaman and the finance guy who did my paperwork are great. I will be referring as many people as I can to Toyota West!!

I bought a Sienna Ltd Premium for my family and the whole car buying process at Toyota West was great! I'd requested a quote online and that's how I got in touch with their internet sales person - David Seamen. David was very helpful in looking up several trims, colors etc and giving me quotes for each one of them. He answered all my questions throughout the decision process and made himself available even via text messages. He made sure we had all the information we needed and took care of all the paperwork, making the whole process as smooth as it could be. I definitely recommend the dealership and David Seamen as the "go to" guy for all car buyers! :-)

After HORRIBLE experiences at other car lots over the last 3 weeks, my wife Google'd to see what dealers were open on Sunday. They were the first lot that popped up. Wife & I went to their website & found 2 or 3 vehicles we were interested in. Called them and spoke with salesman Gary Beck. Told him what I saw on the website, he said give me 5 minutes to track it down & he would call me back. To my surprise he called back in 3-5 minutes & told us the vehicle sold yesterday. I asked about one of the other vehicles I saw, same thing, give me 5 minutes & I'll call back. 5 minutes later he called & said "its here & I'm sitting in it." We told him we were coming from almost a hour away. "He said we close at 5pm today, but as long as your here by 4:59pm we'll stay here as long as it takes to get the deal done." We got there at about 4:45pm. Gary had washed it and it was parked right out front & Gary met us at the door with a smile & handshake. We didn't get out of there until almost 7pm, & drove off with our 2nd choice due to first choice being sold. I can't thank Gary enough & would DEFINITELY refer anyone to him & I would by from Gary again

Just left the new Toyota west service center to have my scheduled maintenance on the 4runner. The new service center is state of the art and from the time I walked in knew that customer service was of the upmost importance. As i sat in the waiting area for my service to be completed enjoying my complimentary cup of coffee a very professional service manager approached me by the name of Melvin Austin. This gentleman took time out of his day to ask me about my service experience and how i was enjoying my 4runner. He then began to explain all the features and benefits of being in the Toyota family. What impressed me the most was this man was not going to make money as i was not in the market to purchase a new car for some time. But that is what i call service after the sale. I contacted this dealership through Cars.com about a particular car they had listed. No one ever contacted me with the information requested, ie. is the car still available? I looked a few days later and noticed that the pictures for the car had been changed. The change was the damage done to a bumper that would definitely need to be replaced. These pictures were not there originally. It just left a little concerned of how honest this dealship was being and would be in the future. It appears that others have had a great experience dealing with them. We did not, and ended up purchasing a car from another dealer.

I purchased a new 2014 Camry on 11/2/13. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a salesman when buying a car before. Mike was very honest with me from the beginning to the end of our deal. That has never happened before. Something has always changed when we actually sat down to buy the car and it did not this time. Mike and Bobby worked very hard to get me the financing I needed to purchase the car I really wanted at a price I could afford. Even though we had to wait to see the finance manager, Greg, to finish our purchase it was not stressful. Greg was very pleasant and took the time to answer our questions. I appreciated the time Mike took with us to explain a lot of the features on the Camry. The car was delivered to us in great condition. We are enjoying the Camry and it is everything we expected. I am sure that during the next three years our experience with your dealership will be the same as it was when we purchased our car. I had not had a new car in over thirteen years so it was nice to get an new one with a great experience. I would recommend Toyota West to anyone looking to get a new car.

In June 2013 I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry XLE and have experienced a series of TERRIBLE events since. First, when I purchased the car it had barely any gas, scratches on the surface and the trunk was trashed. When I took it back to have the scratches buffered and trunk cleaned I was told to be there by 10am (I arrived at 9:45) and they didn't even bother to take it back till I complained about the wait. I didn't actually leave the lot till 12pm which is 2hrs and 15mins all for a buffer and trunk cleaning. Second not even 28 days later my starter switch started to go out. When I told the service department about this they advised me that this is not something covered under my warranty and tried to charge me 50%. I of course (like anyone else with common sense) escalated this matter to management and they decided to give me a goodwill repair for "customer service purposes". That resolved that issue but now HERE I AM AGAIN, not even 90 days into my new purchase and I am experiencing yet ANOTHER repair issue. My "Check VSC System" light is coming on I was advised when I called that it could be my gas cap or because I was low on gas. No problem, I fill up my tank, tighten my gas cap still doesn't resolve the "Check VSC System" message I am getting. NOW MY CAR IS STARTING TO SHAKE PROFUSELY and at this point I am afraid that I have been sold a bad car by this car dealership and this company is out to milk me for every dime I have in unneccessary car repairs that I shouldn't be worried about. It's only been 80 days and I haven't even made it to my first oil change for crying out loud.

Zachary Chinn provided excellent customer service for me when I purchased, "leased", my first car. I test drove a few cars with Zachary months before purchasing and told him exactly what I wanted and told him to call me in 2 months when I was finished with school. He called me one morning and told me the black Scion FR-S I wanted was getting unloaded off the truck. I drove up and leased the car that day. Unfortunately the dealership did not have the audio component that comes standard in the Scion and I was leaving for out of town. Zachary made sure I got the upgrade and was very accommodating during the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone. He turns the car salesmen stereo type on its head as he put my needs ahead of his. Thanks Zach! I'll be back in 3 years to buy another one from you.

Not only was the test drive smooth, but after we cemented out interest, Will Gillis made everything quick and painless. Also, after expressing frustration that my dog had been home alone for so long, the let my wife run home, grab the dog, and let him relax with us at the dealership. No complaints and no denials from the folks there about the dog being around. I was very impressed. One of the best buying experiences I have ever had.

To start off I will say that my buying experience AT FIRST was pleasant. I was greeted by a salesman who took me all over the lot showing me cars I said I was interested in. He was very nice and helpful. When I found the car I had came there intending to buy I was immediately able to test drive it and was very interested. The salesman took me inside and began negotiating the price which also went smoothly and they worked with me. As a young person buying my first car I was excited because this is a HUGE deal and they were being so helpful.. then the problems began. Upon buying the car I was informed that a motor mount needed to be prepared, I was informed by the manager that if I was going to purchase the car at the price I wanted that it was my responsibility to fix the mount and he recommended me to the automotive repair shop they use and told me it would be $150 FLAT to fix and he could send me there with a recommendation or they could add that to the total cost of the car and they would fix it and then call me to pick it up. So I agreed to go there with their recommendation and get the car fixed myself.. well, after driving an hour down there, leaving my car for 2 days at the shop, they call me and tell me it's going to be $120 more than what I was told. I called toyota and told them about the problem and they said they would call me back, 2 hours later I never got a call back and had to call them back myself the next day where I was informed that they were NOT going to help me and do as they promised. So I drove an hour back to the shop to pick up my car and did not get it fixed by that shop. Waste of time, money, and gas. Next, as I'm looking over my contract I notice they did not sell me the car at the price they told me they would. (I KNOW that I should of looked closer at this but the guy in sales was rushing me out the door) I am still so angered at myself for not re-reading what I was signing but I never thought they would do something like this. I was promised a price (tax, papers, etc.) all included and when I get my first bill in the mail its 1800 dollars more. I was so upset at them and myself. Part of the charge included in that was for them to detail my car, what a joke!!! The "detail" they did must have only involved them picking up the trash that you could only SEE because when I brought it home I spent a good couple days clorox wiping, magic erasering and vacuuming the car out. So much dirt and trash under the seats and everywhere you could imagine, it was disgusting. Apart from that they promised me new floor mats for the car (they didn't fit in the car at all), there's a crack in the windshield I have to fix, the brakes squeak, and I'm still responsible for the motor mount. I'm so disappointed, not how I was hoping to feel after spending so much money. I'm a young person, I have thousands of dollars of student loan debt, other bills, etc. I was hoping for a better experience.

i bought a 1998 honda civic. Jimmy Holland was my sales associate and he really took the time to get what I needed. I was purchasing a car for my brother and needed something dependable and reasonably priced. Jimmy was friendly and very helpful and I would recommend him as a sales associate for anyone! all associates are friendly from welcoming you through the door through finance and out the door. the managers are willing to negotiate and the sales associates are honest. great car buying experience!

I bought a used car for my son nearly two years ago now. When we purchased the car, they had only 1 key for it and no floor mats. They said they would get another key and get us the floor mats (they were out...). I have since called them 4 times to get this taken care of. I can't so much as get a return call.

Absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had. I shopped all the area's Toyota dealers and West is far and away the best in Central Ohio. From the first phone call to signing the loan papers they exceeded my every expectation. Tom Cochran and Bobby Van Sickle were both outstanding. I made several visits before my purchase and there was zero pressure and the terms of the deal were all laid out in a simple fashion for to understand. There is nothing about the experience that I would change! Truly a great car buying experience!


Warranty is useless

Refused to pay for repairs that contractually should be covered under limited warranty. Nonexistent customer service with rude, scripted and arrogant managers. They will treat you well until you drive off the lot. Once you return, you are a vile piece of trash they'd rather take advantage of instead of treating you ethically with respect.

I bought a used car and within 5 miles of driving off the lot the dash lit up with alarms. Took it back and was assured it had been fixed and thoroughly checked so I drove it home. 4 days later, the same alarms went off. Took it to the closest dealer for a diagnostic and was told there was low compression in the same cylinder that had been "repaired" in Ohio. Because I had a 1000 mile/30 day warranty, I contacted the dealer before approving any diagnostic. It took 2 days for them to respond to me. At this point I was told they wouldn't approve any work to be completed at the local dealer and that it needed to be towed to Charlotte. I was also told to settle the bill here because the tow was enroute. I paid the bill in full and yet my suv sat on the lot for 6 days before being towed. The dealer in Charlotte confirmed the diagnostic, which required further troubleshooting by pulling the engine. Luckily, Lexus was willing to foot the bill for the troubleshooting and ultimate repair of two faulty valves. Toyota West, by virtue of the warranty, was contractually obligated to pay at least half, but was let off the hook because of Lexus's gesture. After the engine repair concluded, the dealer in Charlotte ran an additional inspection on the GX and found the battery needed to be replaced, which was not covered by Lexus. Yet again, this was a bill I needed to pay in full with no assistance from Toyota West. In total, we paid an additional $700 to repair a vehicle we were duped into believing had been inspected thoroughly and honestly. Not once did I speak to the service manager, although I made numerous attempts, and only after contacting the corporate owner was any progress or communication made. Toyota West lacks the ethical and professional characteristics to describe them as anything other than a shady, slimy used car dealership. Buy with caution.
