I had been looking for a while for a car in a certain price range, certain color with car payments under amount I was comfortable with that had to have options that was not negotiable. So of course every car dealership I called (because I hate going to a dealership and fighting off sales person after sales person) didn't have anything except for Stearns. So I go down there to see the car and walked in asked for the sales person I had talked to and I love the car and signed and out in 20 min with my new car. They even delivered my car to my house. They are awesome and they go out of their way for the customer. I am one happy new car owner! Thank you Jeff Gray and Ashley and Stearns for a great car buying experience.

Purchased a 2015 Ford Transit from Stearns only to find roar in rear differential on the way home.Took into the dealership where the service dept drive the van and assured me the problem would be quickly taken care of . Three months later and 2 rear end tear downs later the van is still in the Stearns shop and worse than it was to start with. This has been a nightmare to day the least. the dealership saleman has lied to me and upper management has not even spoken to me unroll today when I talked to Stephen Stearns. Stay away from this dealership at all cost.

We went to Stearns to trade in my wife's car, but we were told they didn't have anything good enough to trade it for and that we should keep it. That made us all the more interested in the F150 that was parked in the lot. We are return customers and came from Roxboro, NC to buy from Stearns.

I just bought a new car from Stearns ford! Jeff Gray and John in sales helped me and answered all of my questions. At first they had ordered the car and it was taking a long time so they called around and found me a car better than the one I ordered. I felt special because they took that extra time to get the car sooner for me. Chad Blalock in service has helped me learn all the features per my request instead of John and Jeff. I also get 6 free oil changes with the new car. John and Jeff have already called and checked on the new car and to make sure that I know I can call anytime to ask questions or if I need their help. We also take our Dodge Ram to stearns for service and they have always met our needs in every way. Chad Blalock always makes sure that it's done within a timely Manner and we are not spending the day at the dealership. Thanks to stearns for everything.

Make sure that you get an independent inspection of the vehicle. Even if it's passed inspection. ESPECIALLY make sure the tires are good. I had a horrible experience and Delaine Kimrey wouldn't help. She sent us to the used car manager WHO NEVER returned our call to hear our concerns.As a public figure in the Burlington community I could use my influence to refer MUCH business. As a result of our poor treatment we are unable to do that. Our vehicle isn't safe and Delaine didn't care enough that it wasn't safe. She was NOT and advocate for us.

I met Joe the sales person and I was not really planing to purchase there but was just fulfilling a commentment to one of the internet sales reps. Joe was not pushy and was just showing me some of the cars I asked about and in doing so we noticed a car that had everything I wanted at a very great price I left but returned in 30 minutes and test drove the car and decided I wanted it, after signing the paperwork I came out and noticed some damage that I had not noticed before, Joe was able to talk to the body guy and get the car he went out of his way even the owner emailed me thanking me for picking them and invited me to email him personally if there was any problems.

I purchased a used car from Stearns Ford - it was not a Ford, but that didn't matter, the great people there took care my needs, even on the first day when I went to look at the car and it wasn't there, they made sure to set it up so the car was prepped and ready when I came back. The very nice Internet Sales lady was incredibly helpful and answered a lot of my questions. They allowed me to "borrow" the car for a couple of days to evaluate, and that, along with a fair price made my decision to buy easy.

The car has 158,000 miles.I brought the car in for 160,000 miles service.When the car was in service, I went out side to the lot.I was checking the price sticker on, the 2016 & 2017 Ford Escape.I noticed that the 2017 Ford Escape is cheaper than the 2016 for Escape.

I was very please with Neil, my salesman, very personable, down to earth, not pushy. Just for the record this is the first time I met Neil, he was a total stranger to me. As for the vehicle, I am very pleased with its performance, if there was a negative, I don't think it was cleaned very well, I'm not the type of person to complain, but when i got home I did go in and clean the interior, there was grease on the center arm rest and other areas as well, This weekend I will be spending more time on the interior, again, It's probably me as I am a person that likes to take are of his vehicle. I don't want to leave on a negative so ....Would I buy again from Stearns...ABSOLUTLY. .

I have a 2013 Ford Fusion. I had the 45,000 mile service, bought 4 new tires had them mounted and four wheel alignment. All work was done in about 2.5 hrs. There was a mail-in rebate on the tires and the staff help me submit the rebate electronically. Everyone was very considerate and helpful in getting the service accomplished. Please note that I only gave 3 stars for the Facilities that was because they are remodeling the facilities at this time. When the construction is finished the facilities will be rated 5 stars.

We had a great buying experience at Sterns Ford. Keith Garner was very helpful in showing us various Mustangs, not pushy, did not play the games that many car dealers do. He was patience and caring. He wanted to make sure we made the right choice, and he did so by giving information and letting us test drive different vehicles. After deciding on which car we wanted, it was a painless process of working out a very fair deal. Phil in the F&I Dept went thru all the paper work, offered some additional warranties, but was not pushy. He gave the info we needed to make a decision. I was in the market for a new truck and after shopping around I received a call from Stephen and Sterns ford. He asked me to give him the opportunity to beat competitor prices. I had already picked out the truck I wanted in Greensboro but I thought what the heck, I live in Burlington so I'll give them a chance.Next morning I went by and spoke to Theo Crespo's (salesmen) and he was really great and very helpful. I had planned on buying an XLT but with the price he quoted I bought a Lariat for only a few dollars more the the XLT in Greensboro I was looking to buy.Theo Crespo's is Awesome and if your interested in buying a new car or Truck I would highly recommend seeing him. There was no going back and forth on the prices, the price he offered was great and I knew I was getting the best deal around. I promise you want be disappointed if you go by and see him. I have to say this was one of the best car buying experience I have ever had with a ford dealership,

Joe was awesome to work with and went out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable with the condition of the used car before I spent the better part of a day on a trip down and back. The first car that I purchased was on 02/03/2016. At the time I was told that it needed a fuel pump and that I could get the car in a couple of days. No big deal to me as the car was still under factory warranty. Two months later and the car is still not fixed, so I saw a car on the lot that I thought I would be interested in trading for. Long story short, I now have that car and I am very happy with it. I wish that I could say I am as happy with the deal I made to get the car, but I cannot. Other than that, I was furnished cars to drive as they were trying to repair my car. I like all of the people at Stearn's Ford. I just feel like after so long of not getting my car ready that they could have reached out to me about what could be done to rectify the situation. Thanks

I did recently purchase a used 07 Expedition and I thought It was a great deal since I found others with more miles on them more expensive. I dealt with Keith who was an awesome salesman and the ladies in the office was nice also. DO NOT expect anywhere close to trade in value the online program gives you on their site you are better off to use NADA they won't come even close to what their site says the value is. I wanted to buy my vehicle from an actual Ford dealer because you would THINK they checked it over properly and could made all repairs needed well not here. I rushed a little with the vehicle because I trusted them and I test drove it and didn't find anything major. Keith did advise me of a few minor dents and scratches up front so that was nice to know. The very next day after I got it home I found one rim that was bent not just curbed but bent like a pry bar bend and then found the 6 disc changer did not work. To top this all off I went to the beach the next day or so and found out the rear heater doesn't push warm air. One week later the battery had a dead cell and I had to spend over a $100 to replace it and they don't just get a dead cell out of no where. I also seem to have a much needed 100,000 mile tune up which includes spark plugs. So in my opinion they don't look over the vehicles good enough or don't care to make the repairs or advise you of any of the issues the vehicle has and why the price is cheaper. You would expect a used car checked over better at the dealer than a little small generic dealer. Nothing but an email or two and two calls asking about the issues but NOTHING has been offered to make anything better. I will not say the dealer is bad but I would just be very cautious when buying used from these guys.

Love the car I bought here, but the sales experience was unfortunate.When I first contacted the dealership, the car I was inquiring about was under deposit. I asked them to contact me if the sale fell through. A week later, I still saw it listed so I inquired again, and it was still available as the buyer didn't take the car. I wondered why they hadn't contacted me but I went out anyway.The car was exactly as described and advertised, and the price was fair so I didn't ask for a dime off the price. The only thing I requested was for de-oxidation of the headlights, which was agreed. I asked about the "at least one" open recall on the car per the CarFax, and I was told there was one open. As I was doing the paperwork, I complained to my salesman about the dealer fees, which were a little high. He joked about them and suggested they round them up to the next $100. That wasn't funny or nice. I didn't get a break on those offered. Then after the paperwork was done (I purchased a warranty as well), not only was I NOT given warranty info, the salesman came in and confessed he had only key to the car, which was a valet key. He said they never rec'd the car keys from the prior owner. This would have been nice to know during the sales process. It wasn't a non-starter, but was appropriate to disclose. He said I could pay to have one made and he would give me a contact.I left the car overnight to service the headlights, when I returned the next day, that had not been done. When I asked why, I was told "because you took the only key". Ok..... they took the car back to clean the headlights, but I think they only used Windex - no visible improvement.The temp tag was tossed in the back window and I requested it be attached to the car but was told they get wet and tear. I asked if they had a car frame, they said no. I asked if they could bolt it until I got to Raleigh and they said they didn't have screws to fit. So I just left.When I got to Mebane, the SRS (seat restraint) warning came on. I called them to let them know - they said to see if Acura could determine the issue b/c probably related to the open recall.When I got to Performance Acura in Chapel Hill (no appt, just showed up) they immediately came out and put on my plate (with a frame) and scheduled me for a recall service. Odd to find out there were actually FOUR recalls open on the car, NONE having to do with the SRS system. So the light remains on.In addition, Performance (Hendrick) Acura noted that the battery didn't test to pass inspection and needed replaced. Also, the steering and brake fluids were both dirty. I mean, aren't these things a service intake dept inspects & corrects before reselling the car????? YES, they are. Appears Stearns didn't do anything except vacuum.I have had no follow-up call from Stearns regarding the SRS light issue or my satisfaction with the sale. I had a template "are you satisfied" email from Stephen Stearns, to which I replied that I had some feedback for him if he wanted to call me. He did call, and I told him all of this but he had really no response except that I could drive back (from Raleigh) to go over the headlights again.So, after all of this I paid asking price, bought a warranty, couldn't get them $165 down on the dealer fees, have a warning light on, paid for a new battery, paid for new keys, and to appropriately have the Stearns logo removed from the car. Next, I'll have to pay to flush the dirty fluids and de-oxidize the headlights that they didn't do. Oh, and diagnose the SRS light. Awful.No, I don't recommend Stearns to anyone. If I were Ford, I would fix this. Or maybe that it's because I didn't buy one.

Bought a used performance dodge srt8. Had serious front end issues. After much arguing they attempted to fix the car but put standard struts on a SRT car. Really? Who does that ? I did get one thing fixed by this dealership but still had to pay 50 percent on a new back glass due to defroster did not work. They should have paid all but whatever. The front glass has a issue also, I asked about it. I did not get a call back from Lisa the service manager so I called back five days later, she said she hasn't seen another manager to ask him. I have been going to Stearns Ford for service on my 2012 Ford Explorer since I purchased from another dealer. I always appreciated their quick service and personable staff. I started noticing issues with my truck soon after it hit 60K miles and I thought that it was minor and prepared to fork over money for repairs (i did not get extended service plan). Unfortunately, the damage was not simple and I was informed that my truck had transmision issues caused by a busted axle shaft. I was not happy and could not wrap my head around having a car with these types of issues already after owning for just 2 years. I expressed my concerns to the General Sales Mgr (Stephen Stearns) and he told me not to worry and partnered me up with Wayne Stanfield to look at new cars. In the back of my mind I thought that I did not have good options in front of me... 1. A 2-yr old car with transmission issues and uncertainty about what else will go wrong, and 2. Buying a new car and going into more debt and negative equity. With Wayne's help, I selected a car that I would consider driving and feeling comfortable in. But it was a downgrade from where I was. But after they worked wonders for me from a price and trade standpoint, I selected the Ford Edge Titanium. I LOVE my new car. But even moreso, I honestly have become a Stearns customer for life. They were patient, pleasant and extremely helpful.

I pumped 16 gallons of regular gas into a diesel fuel tank. Such an idiot. Anyway I called a wrecker service and they recommended Stearns Ford. The wrecker service, which was very good as well, took my wife, two dogs and a camper to Stearns Ford to drain the fuel tank and get us back on the road to home. They were able to take us right in and perform the repairs as required. The service personnel and the mechanic were very accommodating. If you are in the Burlington, NC area and need service work, go to Stearns Ford. These folks know what they are doing and are very nice folks.Mark Stewart

I haul a 39 foot fifth wheel all the time. I was in the market for a replacement tow vehicle. Found a possibility at Stearns Ford on the Car Fax Web site. The truck was competitively priced. I visited Stearns to check out the truck. Jeff Gray was the salesman who met with me. He was very helpful, answered my questions and allowed me to drive the truck "home" for my wife to see it. I could have even kept it overnight if I wanted to. The entire sales team - Jeff, Mitch, Phil and Sharon all worked with me to craft a deal that met my needs and earned my business. They even were willing to have a spray in bed liner and back up sensors installed as part of the deal. I am from out of state, but the business office worked hard to make sure that I had all the paperwork I needed for registration in my state in a timely manner. I would recommend Stearns to anyone looking for a good deal and good customer service!

This is my second interaction with a Stearns company. I bought my first used car from Stearns Chevy when it was still open... It was the only lot I shopped. Six years later, when it was time to trade it in for a "more grown up model," I looked up the Stearns name again. Never went anywhere else and I will never go anywhere else. I love this company!

I went to Stearns Ford to look at a used Ford Focus hatchback I had seen online. John Fender was my salesperson. He was the ultimate sales professional. No pressure, just making sure all my concerns and questions were answered. The overall experience at Stearns was excellent. I ended up buying the car for my daughter and could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend Stearns Ford to anyone interested in working with a "customer comes first" dealership. It was worth the drive from Cary. Ask for John!

Talked to Chad about battery replacement. Found out battery was over 3 yrs. old. Put in a new battery and on my way in an hour. Customer service reps are great to work with on any problem. Have purchased 5 cars from Stearns over the years. John Fender is always helpful in securing a car. Would recommend Stearns to anyone.

I have been a satisfied Stearns Ford customer in the past and our recent purchase of a 2012 CPO Fusion only reinforces my belief that they are a top-tier dealership. Theo Crespo is our sales representative and his handling of the deal was top-notch. Phil Sumner got us through the paperwork quickly and efficiently. I know from past experience that service will not be a problem. All in all, I don't know how car buying could be easier.

Found the car I really wanted at this dealership. Max was very friendly and responded like a respectful salesman. I dealt with Anna via email from the Graham location; she's very friendly. Delaney their internet person from the above location, was bubbly and helpful. I only felt slightly bullied or cornered toward the end and had to give up my old vehicle to get what I wanted for the loan amount I wanted. But it was a compromise I was willing to make. Overall, they were the least in your face pushy salespersons, I dealt with in my week of looking. Although I paid slightly more than what I wanted, they worked to agree to the limits I was willing to compromise at. I also got a 2 yr maintenance package for free so help me keep my car in great running order. No other dealership I visited offered this to me.

I have purchased six vehicles from Stearns Ford over the past 13 years, and Chuck Joyce has sold most of them to me. This experience began with a phone call from Delaine Kimrey, who is a very pleasant, helpful person. Chuck is a friendly, courteous man who always makes me feel right at home. He knew what day and time I would be there, and had a vehicle already pulled to the front of the building for me to look at (and this is the one I finally decided to buy). He knows me, and anticipated what might interest me. I liked that. I am a handicapped person, and Chuck not only helped my daughter get my wheelchair out of our car, but he helped me into it and offered to push me around the lot; and when we were going to drive out in my new car, he put the chair into the car for me. Every employee that we came in contact with at Stearns Ford were friendly, courteous and tried to be helpful in some way. I have never had a "bad" experience at Stearns Ford. I have one son who has bought a car from Chuck, and have a daughter who is considering it. I will continue to steer my friends and family to Chuck whenever they need a new, or used vehicle. I would not go anywhere else, and hope Chuck Joyce will still be there if and when I need another car.

I have purchased quite a few cars over last 15 years. Every time I begin the process with a feeling of dread because most dealerships I've dealt with seem to want to make the process of buying a new or used vehicle as laborious and time consuming as possible. I started out my search online and was looking for a ford f150 raptor. I like the look of that truck. They were proving to be hard to find and I wasn't really keen on the price. Delaine at Stearns was the only person who responded and questioned if I would potentially be interested in something else. Along with the question she sent along pictures of an f150 fx4 that they had had modified which shared some of the same characteristics as the raptor. That was all I needed. We corresponded via email for several days, which I appreciated because of my busy schedule. The next step was to visit the dealership and work with salesman Tony Mabry. Tony listened to what I was looking for. We drove the truck that Delaine had sent pictures of and while I liked the looks I wasn't completely satisfied with the entire package. Tony then worked with me to find another truck on their lot to modify to my liking. The negotiation process was equally painless they were fair with my trade and worked up a package that fit the budget I was working with. I am very happy with the truck and my experience at Stearns. I will definitely do business with them in the future and refer anyone I know who is looking for a Ford to them.

THEO CRESPO IS GREAT! Spoke with Stephen Jr. who allowed me to put a deposit down. Stephen couldnt be there on Saturday, so referred us to Theo who was GREAT! He "even pulled the van off the sales lot" to make sure no one else got it. He had checked all the parts of the van. He helped us with the test drive and directed us when we wanted it independently checked. I RECOMMEND............THEO CRESPO who went out of his way to help EVEN rushed for us - when we had a deadline and lived 6 hrs. away. The next day he called to make sure we had made it safely home! Now that's a salesman that CARES!
