We were very satisfied with Perkins Motor Plex of Mayfield , KY. We have been looking for a SUV 4th and Jayson sat down and showed us many vehicles that was in their inventory. It was very hard to make a decision due to they have so many to choose from. We decided on a 2010 Lincoln Navigator. So far we are very pleased. We would recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. Didn't know my Expedition would go South

I purchased a 2010 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer EXT from Perkins Motor Plex of Murray and was ecstatic over the vehicle and felt I paid a fair price. BUT...within two weeks it blew a radiator hose and leaked coolant all over the engine. We called the dealership and they had us bring it in, giving us a loner car. After a few days, we were able to pick it up after they had installed a new hose/coupling. Then, within hours after picking it up, it died in the middle of me picking up the kids from daycare. I freaked out and called my husband to get the kids before the center closed and then he had to jump start my truck. He found that the battery had a huge amount of buildup around the cables and on the battery, due to the coolant spray that went all over the engine. Once again, the truck went back to Perkins for repair and they put on a new battery, etc, and gave us a loner car. All is well for another couple of weeks and then, when I was out of town and my husband had all five kids in the truck, the coolant system sprang ANOTHER leak! He barely made it home with the truck only able to do 35 mph or overheat. This time Perkins brought a tow truck and hauled it off to, yet again, replace a radiator hose. Luckily, I was back in town the day after this incident, otherwise my husband would not have been able to take the kids to/from school/daycare. They brought the car back several days later and it has been running fine for the last few weeks. All totaled, I was without this vehicle for about 3 weeks out of the first 6 weeks that I had it. I was very upset when my first car payment came in for over $400, as I felt I was paying for something I couldn't even use! I appreciate Perkins' willingness to fix the vehicle and to give us a loaner car (though it didn't hold a family of 7), but I feel their repair staff should have caught the battery issue and tested the coolant system for other failures before they sent the vehicle home the first time. I'd recommend the dealership, but not their service department.

I spent months looking for a new family vehicle! We found just what our family needed at Perkins! They were all very friendly & helpful! We were done with paperwork quickly and I was driving off the lot in my new car within hours! I will never buy anywhere else! Thank you Perkins & staff!

great car buying experience

Car was just as listed,had a seal leak on gas cap called Jay ( Roll Tide) replaced gas cap no other problems.Will go back to Perkins Motor Plex for next vehicle.

Great experience

Perkins in Mayfield Ky is by far the best and most friendly people. Keith Eaton was our salesman and was sharp to answer my question's. And he show us everything and did so at 6:30 which is way past his closing time. We got my wife a truck and it was a great experience working with Perkins motors. I finally found a great car dealer. Horrible Experience

I cannot fathom how a business like this could ever prosper. My family found an automobile online that we were interested in. After two phone conversations with a "salesman" I still could not get a firm price on the car or a carfax emailed to me. We ended up buying elsewhere, and was able to complete the transaction over the phone in less than thirty minutes. Would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

Lied to us completely

We came here with a problem. I had been off work for quite a while sick, so we needed our car payments lowered. We told them the situation. They sold us a car, informed us that we wouldn't be in the hole when we drove off in the car we traded for, we asked this several times with the same answer. That was a LIE! We feel stupid now that we are back on our feet and have looked at this again. We owe almost DOUBLE what this car is worth!!!! They cheated us when were down. They seem nice but they're horrible. I'll NEVER recommend anyone to go to perkins.
