I was pleased with my car buying experience because James was very knowledgeable,. He listened to what I needed and ensured that's what I got. There was no pressure or trying to change my mind. I have no complaints about James and his help. Only challenge was how long the overall process took. We were able to drive out with a car but it took a long time to get through the "check out" process. That being said Craig was also very helpful in the business office and everything went smoothly. He was also very knowledgeable and gave me no pressure. It may have been a situation of not enough staff to handle the checkouts that held us up. Overall I would definitely recommend Fullerton and working with James & Craig.

From the beginning to the end, test driving to buying and picking up my new Escape was pretty easy and uneventful. James was informative and easy going, not pushy at all. He helped narrow down what I wanted and found a couple cars right away that matched spot on. He was easy to reach for additional questions and took his time explaining the details of the car. I would definitely recommend Fullerton and James.

Sales rep James Sheeley was great. After calling several dealers and asking if I could talk to someone about getting lease info details, explaining that my husband would be the actual signer, they said no way, my husband would have to be there and refused to meet with me to even discuss lease payments. I called Fullerton and explained my situation and got an appointment with a sales manager, who in turn asked Mr. Sheeley to help me. After 4 hours of his time, I left with a contract drawn up contingent upon my husband's approval, but after he reviewed the info, he didn't want me to buy that particular car (a Focus 1.0L 3 cylinder). When I called Mr. Sheeley the next morning to inform him, he found me a 2.0L 4 cylinder, I went to look at it and he drew up a new contract with the exact same payment, my husband later came by to sign the contract and I drove my new Focus home!

Took my car her for a recall repair to the airbag. Made an appointment by phone, and received three reminders by email. Service drive is indoors, which is good for inclement weather. Expansive waiting room with strong wifi, work stations, passable pastries/muffins, and a Keurig coffee machine. Shuttle to take you home or nearby restaurants or shopping was not needed. Start to finish, my 8:00 AM appointment to have the airbag replaced was done by 8:44. I dreaded the results of the free "99 point inspection", assuming several service needs would be suggested. However, the only thing turned up was a need for two new tires, of which I was already aware. This, to me, speaks to the honesty of their diagnosis, and I would use them again.

Worked with Mark W. He made the deal happen, really went as for just a test drive but my wife loved the color of the car. It was obvious that they Mark wanted to earn he business and he made sure to meet a price that was reasonable for me and my wife. We usually have dealt with another dealership (4 leases thru that dealer) but that dealer was not willing to move off of what I considered ridiculously high pricing on a car we were interested in. Only issue with Fullerton in the delivery of the car was a stain in the back that I noticed on the test drive. Stain was still there when we picked it up. Mark was very attentive when I brought it to his attention and cleaned it immediately, but that is something that should have ben taken care of when the car was cleaned for delivery.

I recently visited Fullerton Ford for a routine oil change. The customer service was impressive! It was the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and I arrived at 3 pm. Fullerton team acted like it was just another wonderful day at work. The team was professional, helpful, and patient. Excellent customer service! The renovated wait area was comfortable and clean. I fixed a cup of joe, grabbed a free snack, pulled out my laptop and enjoyed the free wi-fi while I waited. Thank you Fullerton Team for the positive experience. I'll definitely be back!

First off I needed to find a dealer to address the two recalls on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Having bought a new car from Fullerton back in 1999 I decided to call them first. I spoke with Sarah in the Service Dept. and she checked on the availability of the parts needed and then set up my appointment. The day before I received a call to confirm my service appointment and to once again give me a confirmation that the parts were in stock. A reminder of a car service appointment the day before like a doctor's appointment? How cool is that?! I dropped my Jeep off the night before because I am at work by 6:30 AM using the convenient key drop, nice and easy. The next morning I received a call from Mary in the Service Dept. confirming that my Jeep was checked in. Wow! Later that day at 3:30 Mary called to tell me that my Jeep was all finished and ready to be picked up. Nice. No charge because they were recall issues and an inspection report for other minor issues that need to be addressed, no pressure at all for these additional repairs. Very nice people and excellent service for recall issues on a car not even bought from them. Excellent!

Took my new Ford Explorer in for a 10k oil change. I was happy to use the 'drive up' service that didn't require an appointment, as I was a few minutes late and didn't have to worry about it. The waiting area had a private working stall for me and several others to work, and wireless internet. Coffee and muffins for all. The oil change was done quickly, and I was on my way.

I stopped in to make appt to get my Jeep fixed..I met with Dean ( from Fulterton) and he brought me in to make appt to have jeep serviced..Dean could not be nicer, and brought me right to the customer service person...I was only going to make appt, and they took my jeep right in and gave me a loner ( a beautiful 2016 Edge) to use...everyone there was exceptionally friendly and curtious to me..Even Joe the service manager came over to me to make sure everything was going ok...he said he would call when the jeep was done...he actually did call me that day and said what was wrong with my jeep...he said it will be done tomorrow by 12:00 noon...to my surprise, he called me the next day and it was done on time..the service and people were just amazing over there... And no charge for the jeep they lent me!!! That never happened to me before!!!!!

Gave a specific price, on a specific MSRP car and asked if they could beat the price. Got no answers to my questions, just more questions, calls, emails, and non-answers. I dread the new car process because of the games and sales games, but wanted to shop a fair price that I got. Fullerton talked themselves out of an opportunity and missed the boat on competing. They fall into the "just another car dealership" for me.

Dave and Fred do a great job keeping the customer informed and providing details of what has to be done to the car. The 'Service Engine' Light had come on the Instrument Cluster of my Ford 'C' Max Energie. I drove the car to Fullerton Ford, the dealer from whom I leased it. Their staff is always courteous and attentive. They would have attended to my car right away, if they could, but the shop was overloaded. I was given an appointment to suit my schedule. I recently leased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler through Fullerton Chrysler-Jeep. Like everyone looking for a new car I first turned to the internet to research vehicles, options, and prices. At the end of the day the internet offers a plethora of companies competing for your business, so it can become tedious and confusing. Bottom line is that we all want a great price, an easy sales process with no pressure, a pleasant buying experience, and service after the sale. I got all of these at Fullerton Chrysler Jeep in Somerville, NJ. This was my second car purchase through this dealership and they made it very evident that they appreciated my return to their dealership as it was clearly reflected in the terms they presented to me. There is no doubt in my mind that I will return to Fullerton at the end of this lease for my next Jeep vehicle.

I went in to see what was available in a pre-owned Ford. I was met at the door by an extremely pleasant, Susan who asked how she could help me. She listened to what I was looking for, and what I somewhat believed wasn't going to exist. Shortly there after, she is donning her coat and walking me to EXACTLY what I had just said I was looking for. A few minutes later, I am taking the vehicle for a test drive. That day I put a deposit down on the only vehicle I needed to look at. Two days later, with the help of Susan and Craig in Finance, I am completing the paperwork and picking up my 2009 Ford Escape. Kudos, all around!

False Advertising

I was extremely dissappointed with my expereince at Fullerton. The location in summerville was not close to where I live. I called in advance to determine if the car I wanted to look at was on the lot and was told that the car was available. When I got there the salesperson looked up the car and said it was on the lot. We looked throughout the entire lot for about 20 minutes for the car only to find out that the car had been sold or moved off the lot. Most importantly the salesperson offered No apology or " lets maybe look at something else that you might be intererested in" - just "we don't have this car" and then he left.( He did say goodbye.) Then somebody actually had the audacity to call me later to ask if I found everything to be in good order during my experience at Fullerton. Summary - Bad inventory management, Poor Customer Service, Poor communications between the various departments at Fullerton ( Internet Sales / Customer Sales/ Inventory management)

Bought a CPO vehicle there and after taking it home found out the rotors were warped. They claim they do a 125 point inspection but somehow this got by them. I drove 4 hours round trip to buy this vehicle and they wouldn't let me fix it in my hometown and cover the bill. Made me take it back so they could rectify the issue. My opinion is this should have never happened and their reputation as a respectable dealership is tarnished.

your parts department is a joke i was there to order parts for are company cars rear end i brang the old parts with me so there would be no problem your parts guy ordered the parts thee days i waited i got a phone call that they were in when i got to the parts department they were wrong i had to reorder the parts from a more skilled associate larry his name was i got another call that parts were in when i got to parts department the first associate was there after a half an hour waiting i asked if they could speed up i have get back to the shop i was not happy what i was going thru again your associate came back to the front with a attitude telling me to koolout this ant wallmart i can not believe you treat customers this way i will never do bushiness with your company ever again and are shop will not buy any trucks from your company i am going to contact the better business

Went to Fullerton to look at a dodge charger hemi. We were greated by Manny Rodriguez. Manny was very professional and showed us a couple of cars. No preasure. We saw a car we loved and Manny made it happen at a great price and super support from the entire Fullerton Crew. we picked up the car and just love it. Unlike another dealer we went to who tried to preasure us into buying this was a really good experience. We have already recommended Fullerton and Manny to several friends. buying a car at Fullerton was a great experience! i had gone to Payless auto group in old bridge, NJ looking for a similar vehicle and got hustled into almost buying a car i would have regret financing! my sales guy MANNY R. at Fullerton was the complete opposite of the sales guy i dealt with at Payless. i felt like he genuinely cared about the vehicle i was buying and took all my needs and wants into consideration. finally we found the PERFECT CAR a 2010 Mazda 3 with very low miles. in great condition at an incredibly low price. he explained how financing was going to work and got me approved right away!. the sales managers were also very friendly and were always willing to help when the sales rep. was not available.. the sales managers made sure all the paperwork was accounted for and made sure finance had all paperwork ready to go for me before i went. needless to say, finance was a breeze we were in and out of there in 20 minutes and by that time the car was clean and even detailed!!! Manny even ensured that my inspection sticker, temporary insurance and temporary plates were secured properly and temporary registration was ready to go as well. this was the best car buying experience i have ever had! i would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for amazing customer care and a fun car buying experience!

this is the best dealership I have ever gone too. i went to payless auto group in old bridge nj and felt like i was being hustled into buying a vehicle i wasn't really interested in, and at a huge intrest rate! but at at fullerton everyone was extremely nice. and my sales guy MANNY R. was not the typical sleezy sales man. i felt like he genuinely cared about what vehicle was right for me. He took everything i wanted into consideration and found me a GREAT 2010 Mazda 3 for very cheap.!! . the sales managers are also very friendly and always willing to help when the sales rep. is not available.. the sales managers made sure all the paperwork was accounted for and made sure finance had all the paperwork faxed from the bank and all ready to go for me. finance was a breeze! we were in and out of finance within 20 minutes and picked up the car from the detail area with in the next few minutes after that.! buying a car here was the best choice i could have made. definitely would recommend buying here if your looking to get the best customer service around!

I have only positive things to say about Fullerton Ford. I leased my Focus from Fullerton and from my easygoing sales experience to my pleasant service department visits I am more than happy with the customer service that I receive from these people. I am glad to say Fullerton is not like every other dealership...I would recommend them to anybody.

Bought my Escape from Mike Petrillo and I'm glad he helped me find an SUV I'm really happy with and suits me really well. Between regular oil changes and getting little creature comforts (remote starter, heated seats, tow package) installed, I've also been helped by Dina Thompson, Fred Avila, Keith Davis, and Doug Watson in the Ford service department and they've all been awesome to deal with. Fullerton Ford comes highly recommended!

Finally found a dealership that worked with me on price. I had a limited budget and also needed a car with good gas mileage. Chris, our salesman, worked with us to find the perfect car. When we came in to pick it up, Chris was there waiting for us, even though it was his day off! I sent my brother there too, and he had the same great experience. Highly recommend.

I bought my new Explorer in for a clunky brake sound on a Saturday to Fred. He's helped me a few times and although I know Saturdays can be busy, I figured I would stop in to see if someone had a moment to check on it. Well, Fred pretty much stopped what he was doing to help me! He had one of the techs (I think his name was Mike) bring it right into the shop. Within about 20 minutes, I had it back. It was just a matter of tightening something within a rod of some sort. (Hey...I'm a girl, and I don't pay a lot of attention to this technical jargon...all I know is it's fixed!) Great service...there's just something about that Fred that makes me comfortable here!

My wife and I were looking for a new Jeep Wrangler, after going to a few dealerships and not liking who we spoke with (they seemed like they were too busy to be bothered). At Fullerton, we met a young man named Chuck. A kid recently out of the military, with all the personality in the world. Within minutes there was no stress as he had us laughing the whole time. However, he was able to also focus on making our needs his priority. We asked every question we could and he answered everything sincerely. What he wasnt sure of he made sure he found out the exact answer for us. I really enjoyed my experience at Fullerton. I asked for extra business cards so i could recommend him. I cant say enough about how valued we felt. I highly recommend everyone considering a new car to go see them.

We knew which car we were interested in, and our salesman Mike was clearly a nice person who was being forced to do shady stuff to try to seal the deal. There were lots of back-and-forth games about whether the car was still available, whether they had already sold it, how much they would offer for trade-in, etc. Once we knew we had been lied to, it was impossible to trust them and couldn't bring ourselves to make a deal there, even after a few follow-up calls chasing our business. When we told our story at the dealer where we finally did buy, the sales associate said "Don't they know the age of the sleazy car salesman is over?? You can't get away with that anymore!" That's the truth.

I saw a add on line through Cars.com they sent me the name of a sales person, and email. The add did not have pictures so I sent an email to the Sales rep to ask a few more questions but never received a response, thought the car was gone but it was still up there a week later so I sent another email no response. Then I called I was told to stop by. When I got their I was then told before they even checked the system the car I was looking for was no longer available I feel this was because the price of the vehicle was low. From their the rep tries to sell me a car that was 8K more that what I came in to the location looking for. I under stand sales but at least try to give the customer what they are looking for. Went into Fullerton Ford last week to look at the new fusion and also the edge. I decide with the edge just cause i have kids (5 &9 ).. i was greeted by Joe think he was the manger he was very knowledgeable with the cars i was looking at. the process was easy i told him what i wanted to spend and we kinda went back and forth couple times I WON lol.. all kidding aside the process was smooth the selection of vehicles was overwhelming so i was happy i had a selection. great incentives nice waiting room and finance took minutes maybe 2 hrs from when i walked in to when i pulled out.. definitively going back for the wife

Bought my car from liccardi not fullerton and after 2 weeks in there shop and no answers on when it will be done they told me if i did not like it to go somewhere else.I am a police officer and a officer i work with told me to go to FULLERTON FORD he has a friend Mr prince ,not only did he treat me as if i bought a fleet from them he had me fixed and out the door in 2 days .i will only use fullerton ford for any repairs.

My wife and I came in to Fullerton Jeep in Somerville, NJ on Saturday September 15th and purchased a white 2013 Grand Cherokee. When the deal was done we were told to come back after it was cleaned ready for pickup. When we returned 3 hours later during our inspection of the vehicle I noticed some dings and scratches on the rims on the right side. It looked like whomever put the lug nuts on didn know what they doing. The major issue was a scrape and a dent roughly 3-4" long on the left rear door along the seam. I honestly didn't want to take the vehicle at this point but the sales associate Dave and his manager, Scott, assured me it was an easy fix. So, they gave me a work order to fix the damage and I was told I'd receive a call from Dave during the week to come in for the repair. As soon as we left I noticed the full tank of gas I was promised was actually only a half tank. Well, this was just the start to the story. A few days later, I did receive a call on Tuesday about bringing in our Jeep on Thursday 9-20-12. Dave assured me I'd have a vehicle ready on Wednesday so I wouldn't have to take the morning off of work on Thursday. When I called Wednesday to confirm, I was told there were no cars available and to just come in on Thursday morning. When I arrived Thursday morning, to my dismay, there were still no cars available. After waiting 30 minutes the service manager, Art, found me a Fiat. Keep in mind I bought a Jeep and was promised a Jeep in return while this repair was being fixed. At this point, I really didn't care and I just needed to get to work. Later on in the afternoon I got a phone call telling me the guy from M.D. Colors (Fullerton Auto Body guy) needed to drive my car to his shop for 2-3 days for repair. Keep in mind this is a leased vehicle and I live an hour away from the dealership. I wasn't willing to have my wife drive a Fiat an hour to work when we purchased a brand new Jeep 2 days prior. There's no way I'm letting someone I don't know drive my new car to a shop in Northern NJ and put more miles on my leased vehicle. I was told by Scott this would be an easy fix and could be done at the dealership. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and went to pick up the Jeep. When I arrived at the dealership I knew something was up. Every time my sales representative told me he was going to get my car he came back with nothing. Then, Scott came out and told me the rim guy had screwed up my two rims on the right side of the vehicle. After patiently waiting another hour, and now being late for work, I received my Jeep. After looking at the rims it was clear the guy doing it never cleaned the rim before he sprayed over them. Not only did he spray over the dirt he sprayed my lug nuts. I am paying for a brand new vehicle and now i have spray painted rims that look like they belong on a cheaper car. The kicker here is that I was told the guy does great work! Here is my concern: what's this body shop going to do to my car now if they couldn't even fix the rims correctly?! This has turned into a huge nightmare costing me time out of work and has become an inconvenience. I was told by Scott I can drive up to this body shop next week and leave my car for two days. This proposes a major problem now for me. Not only do i need to take off work again but now I'm driving 2 hours away from my house, putting added miles on my leased vehicle, when i was promised this could be done easily onsite at Fullerton. I've never had a car buying experience like this ever in my life. Avoid this dealership if you can! The manager there would sell you his used shirt for double if he could. LIES LIES LIES!
