We traveled over a thousand miles to check out a special car at this dealership and when we got there the car was so there. So there that it was out front freshly washed and detailed with its staff members waiting outside to greet us. In fact one staff member walked out to our vehicle as we were parking. We loved all the awesome staff there. Special thanks to Mark and Joe. Really incredible people and huge help to make owning our dream car come to life. And the car was everything they said it was. We happily drove our dream car home over 1000 miles away and it was amazing!

Call the dealership, agree on the price over the phone(if vehicle turns out good) than drove 50 minute to the dealership. 1st thing I notice on the truck was that the paint on the fender(look like the paint job was done from a paint can spray) on the driver side didn't match the vehicle. I ask if the fender been hit. the salesman response "carfax list no accident and its probably the sun". my response "if it's not reported than it's not going to show up and the sun only shines on that fender". I had a good laugh but he wasn't too happy about my response. continue to inspect the truck and saw a few thing wrong(compass/temp gauge not working, airbag light stay on, air blower kept making a hissing noise when turn on, changing gear kept making a noticeable clicking noise and tire pressure light stay on). pointed it out to him and he gave me the "125 point inspection speech" if that was the case than why would you try to sell a truck with all these issue especially the airbag light being on and the recall not taken care of. I proceed to test drive it since I drove 50 minutes to their dealership. came back, ask if price is negotiable as long as the items I saw wrong was fix. salesman assure me that the fender will not get painted, told me that the truck has a 30 day warranty and after the purchase than I can come back in a few days, inform the issues to the dealership and under warranty, the dealership will fix/replace all of the items but for sure the airbag light because its a safety issue. I thank him for his time and walk away laughing about the experience. So if you need a good laugh than this dealership is a JOKE!

I made an appointment to go buy a 2002 jeep liberty. When I got there they had no idea where the car was. The salesman ran across the street, stayed a whele, came back and said it was not saleable. I was upset an left in a huff. Someone asked if they could show me something else and i said no.

I had a great experience with the purchase of my first Jeep so I went back for my next one....BIG MISTAKE! Everyone dropped the ball...I received delinquent notices from the bank and the DMV on the car I traded in. No one especially the GM Alex wanted to help me or return my phone calls and when phones calls were returned I was told, "there's nothing I can do, my hands are tied". 3 months later and after doing all the work myself I think everything has been taken care of, no thanks to Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep.

Dealer let me drive off lot with 2008 Chevy Impala SS had me sign documents put $ 500.00 down told me that I was approved and I was a happy camper. I drove the car for a month and was just about to make my first payment and then i get a call from dealer saying that the finance company wanted a bigger down payment. The dealer told me that if I put a larger down payment my monthly payments would be lower. I Agreed and drove car home. With my bad credit and bankruptcy I expected to pay high interest and payment. The dealer after signing documents confirmed that everything was fully approved and I left dealership without documents I signed. The finance manager told me that he would have documents ready for me to pick up in a few days. After three weeks I get another call from Bakersfield Jeep and they tell me that I have to bring car back that the finance company did not want to finance me. At this time I have added extras to car totaling $ 1,200.00 dollars on a few upgrades. The dealer finance dept tell me to find a co-signer for the car purchase. So I ask a family member to co-sign he agrees and contacts dealer gives information an hour later I get a call from Walter in sales dept telling me that my co-signer went threw and even told me that my new payments were lower. I ask Walter if he was sure that he had the right customer Jimmy James and he confirmed saying yes Mr James I have the right customer. After an hour the finance manager calls and tells me to bring car into dealer co-signer did not go threw. I told the finance manager that Walter told us different and he put me on hold and i could still hear him giving Walter a big cussing for telling me that. When I first went to bakersfield jeep I was met by 3 salesman racing to get to my car, I was promised the world , and more. I was straight up when I first told the dealer my situation and they said we can work with you. All the dealer did was run my credit down even more by submitting credit apps to every finance company in america and it will take years for the inquiries to fall off my report. The dealer got my hopes up on buying the car and I was back on track having a car to get to and from work. and buy letting me drive the car for a month. I know that the way they handled my purchase was not right and I was taken for a ride, And was promised and told things that were not right. Do yourself a favor find another car dealer ship and dont let this dealer play with your emotions.jimmy jameslamont, calif 2015

I give kuddos to the finance manager for working on getting us a payment that we were looking for even after we had already signed a contract. I have to say they took closet a month to pay off the car we traded-in causing stress on us. Was afraid our credit would be affected.

We just drove our new Chrysler 200 home today and it was a thrill. We were very pleased with the attention David G, the salesman, gave us. He thoroughly explained the features of each 200 model, as well as those of the LTD we bought. He made a point of introducing us to staff in each department so that we would feel comfortable bringing the car in for servicing. He and the sales manager Brad were quite willing to match the discount offered by another dealership. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience--no haggling at all. Thanks, David!

Sami Ayoub went out of his way to make us a screaming deal on a 2014 Chrysler T&C...After we first test drove this vehicle and went to two other dealerships to compare pricing and trade in allowances, he beat them all by a large margin. Some of the nicest people at this dealership namely, Joe and Maribelle in Finance, the 2 Davids, don't know their last names and others whose names I've forgotten. Always willing to answer your questions and to be helpful. This is a nicely organized and clean showroom as well as the outdoor parking for the new cars. Plenty of sales people on duty...Each time we visited the dealership over 3 days, we were greeted by the friendly staff right after parking and when we asked them for Sami Ayoub they went and found him for us.

Jeep Chrysler did not pay attention to the information I provided and went back on the deal that we had made. Because of their oversite, my Jeep buying experience has been a nightmare. Apparently they wanted my money so fast, they forgot to check some of the most important pieces of information. If you do come here, make sure you read ALL the fine print, because they may have not done their job correctly and that fine print will get you and save them. Also you need to take your time with them, becasue it seems they get in a hurry and forget really important stuff.

My wife and I were not sure what we needed or wanted. We looked around for a car for two days causing more confusion. My wife wanted a compact car to easily get around in, but a car to accommodate our two boys. Yet, a car we can past down to our 12 year old for his high school years. On the other hand, I wanted a sturdy and reliable car for when my wife leaves town for her marathons that encompass mountainous environments and, at times, inclement weather. I also wanted the horsepower to accommodate the weight of lcargo during our travels. Because we were unsure to what car was ideal for us, I could understand a car salesman's patients being put to the test. Not David! He repeatedly allowed us to test drive different models, and even the same models when we asked. After spending much time with us and allowing us the multiple test drives, I turned the cars down realizing the vehicles we had test drove we're not four wheel drive. David did not push the sale, but directed us to other models that met our needs. And again he showed patience, and again never pushing us to buy. He wanted us to be satisfied with the car we chose. I have bought cars from Bakersfield Nissan. North Bakersfield Toyota/Scion and BMW. With my dealings with these dealerships, I promised myself I would never buy a car from them ever again. If I ever wanted a model they sold, I would take my business out of town. But for David and, so far, how Bakersfield Chrysler has treated us, we are so satisfied and happy.

The 2+ month delay was easier to accept because we could call him with questions about driving the vehicle and his calls keeping us posted. Now today, our 2014 Jeep G.C. is riding very smoothly!

I have had an issue with Jeep Chrysler for almost 3 months now. I have a faulty front windshield. I was told by the service department they were ordering one. More than a month passed and no response. I then called to speak to the Manager. He also told me he would check on it for me. He did explain it is a process to replace a windshield. Everytime I call they send me to the manager's voice mail and a person in the service department. I don't appreciate the runaround. Atleast, if they called me back, I would know something is being done. I now believe they never ordered the windshield. Now we are going on the third month with no action.. Thank you for allowing me to complain of their service.

Went in to look at a Jeep Compass already knew what i wanted. There were no salemen avaliable to help me. I had to wonder around the lot and find my own car then i had to send my mother to find a salemen because no one evr approached us or even asked me did i need help. After waiting nearly an hour finally got a salesperson to help. When going to go purchase my insuance we got bounced around when calling the dealship and and blind transferred to the Fiat dealship who said they could not help to tell me who financed my car. Also, call was never returned to infor me who was the lien holder onmy car so i will have to wait to turn my insurance infor into the bank who financed my car. Even my insurance agent became fed up with getting the run around. If i didn't already know what i had wanted then i probbaby wouldn't have came to this dealer. I have complaints about my salesman he did his job once i finally got helped.

When I was looking to buy a 4 door car, I had not even considered Bakersfield Chrysler, as I was looking to purchase a used mid-sized sedan. I had spent 3 hrs dealing with Carmax down the street and did not get anywhere close to a deal! So as I was leaving, my buddy suggested we take look at Bakersfield Chrysler, as he had a positive experience buying his van. So glad I made the decision! The dealer took my time into consideration and made every possible effort to ensure the deal was closed quickly. They made a fair offer on my trade in and I ended up with a new 200 for the price of a used one. The manager really made every effort to that I was satisfied, this was during Presidents' Day and the place was very busy, in all the still made me feel that my business was important. As much I like my 200, I may be back soon as I need a bigger car!

Prompt, but going in at 4:30 in the afternoon is better than what you face at 8am. Just do not go in at 4:30 with a wish list of thing to fix. Even then I am not sure the early am crowd can do what your needs are. Much of what I read on line of our customer satisfaction has to do with capable handling of car care issues

I brought my Jeep wrangler in for repairs, after a week it was finally ready. When I went to pick up my vehicle there was a delay bringing it out and I could see several service guys huddled around my Jeep out back. Finally they brought it around and I was on my way. I got to my first stop down the street and when I got back in the thing was dead in the water, no power, nothing. The service tech had checked my battery as part of my starter repair, and I had it checked at auto Zone prior to bringing it in so it was good before they started. Someone had left the dome light on while the door was open (or removed) for repair of the latch. I had them tow the Jeep back to the dealer for them to make it right. The next afternoon they hadn't even touched it! I ended up telling them to forget it and went to Auto Zone, bought a battery myself and replaced it in their driveway. Started right up. They turned me loose in a vehicle they knew wouldn't start, they killed my battery by draining it completely (wouldn't hold a charge), and then didn't make it right and make the repair a priority. Needless to say, the transmission repair on my Dodge truck scheduled for Thursday will be done at another transmission shop and I will drive to another town to purchase my next Jeep (probably within the next 3-6 months)

I am a fleet buyer for a local water district. I purchase 8-10 cars/pickups a year, typically Ford, Chevy or Ram. We recently made a decision to include Jeep in our procurement process. I went to BCJ, spoke to the sales manager, Brad, who assured me they would like to be a part of the bidding process (I was looking at 3 new vehicles over the next two months) and would have a quote to me the next day. I received a call the same afternoon from another salesman who obviously had not read the request for proposal documents. Stopped back in that afternoon and was treated like a retail customer to be negotiated with. Clarified once again our criteria and was told they would have something the following day. Called back three times the next day. Finally spoke to another salesman, who was unaware of, or had not seen, the provided documents. Finally gave up and removed BCJ from our procurement process. Very poor listening skills by all I spoke with.

We recently purchased a 4 door Jeep wRangler...we are seriously in love with this car! It's perfect for us and we get stopped so many times by people that really love the car as well. I have to say that the quality of the customer service there at Jeep has raised the bar for me! I will never again settle for other dealerships that make you feel like you owe them something for coming into their auto mall. This facility really knows how to embrace customers and still knows how to value customers and not take their business for granted. OUr wonderful experience came mostly with dealing with DAVID the car salesman....he is the first genuine car salesman I have ever met. You instantly sense his sincerity and his knowledge in the cars was quite amazing! He knew the ins and outs of both cars we test drove. Our hearts immediatly melted for him. He became our friend by the end of the day. He is a wonderful man who deserves nothing but great things and we are praying that God would bless him beyond measure. We would highly recommend this dealership along with their staff (DAVID). They will treat you very well. I hope all the salesman there are as great as David...but one thing is for sure...you can't fake the gentle heart that he has. Seriously love that guy. The day I went to buy my truck, service was awesome, people were nice. Five days later my truck still isn't ready, they needed to change a tail light and I keep getting the run-around when I call to see the status of the truck, left several messages never got a call back. After calling today, my truck still wouldn't be ready for another 2 days. Very frustrating.

I had some concerns in the past with getting service work through you guys because when I first dealt with your service department, I had an appointment with John. I got there and waited, and waited, while he ignored the overhead pages and joked with someone in an office that was visible to me. Finally I asked to have someone else. She was good and helpful, but I can't remember her name. The next time I went in, I was paired up with Cindy. She is GREAT! She had bent over backwards to take care of me and I really appreciate it. I definitely will continue to service my car through you guys. I also want to give a shout out to Chad who is also very nice & helpful. The only complaint I have is with John. While I was in the service room waiting for my car one of the mechanics came in and John was very rude to him. To the point where I felt very uncomfortable. He also made a phone call and was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on the person. To me that is just ridiculous. He needs to be talked to! That's not how you treat people. So, there's the good and the bad.

My husband and I were looking to buy a family vehicle and had to get out of our current vehicle. We had been to many dealerships and no one would help us or just couldn't help us. We then purchased a vehicle at a local dealership and the finance fell through because of a mistake on their end so we went to Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep.The sales man that helped us (Damien) look at several different vehicles ( for hours) and put up with my husbands 101+ questions. And the sales manager (Brad) was amazing at making the vehicle that we really wanted work for our situation. I would recommend people to go to Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep for your vehicle needs. Not only was Damien and Brad friendly, so was the rest of the staff. They accommodated my children so we could look at vehicles and made the process easy. Well my experience with jeep has been a night mare . First the ran my credit check 20 times in 1 month knock my score way way down. Then they promise 2 free oil changes and now they choose not to honor it because they don't have those notes in their system. I would not recommend jeep of bakersfield to anyone. Go out of town they will treat you better then bakersfield jeep. Thought I share my personal recent experience with jeep in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

We have been searching for the best deal on a used Jeep for awhile, looking online, newspaper ads, asking around and even driving to different out of town dealerships that promised the lowest prices guaranteed. But we still did not find the right Jeep that had everything we wanted at a decent price, until today. One of the contacts (Adriana) asked us to come in and look at what they had, since they were local we decided to go. I talked to Jose Garcia when I went into the dealership. He gave us a better than used car price on a new 2013 Jeep, with everything we wanted. Needless to say how happy we are to have our new Jeep.

My wife and I drove onto the dealership lot and saw the car that she had found on-line the night before, we asked a salesman if we where correct and he said, "yes". We told him we wanted that car and said, "Follow me!" We are in our 60s, live on a fixed income, and have "iffy" credit, but they worked us a deal and we left the dealership with a (new to us) car. They were AWESOME. We recommend this dealship to anyone who wants freindly salesmen, good service, and a dealership who is really looking to put you in a car, any car, as long as you are happy.

We recently trsded in a vehicle for something bigger and family friendly for our large family. We are a family of 6 and needed something we can comfortably fit in and enjoy on road trips. Jose our salesman was awesome, not pushy at all like many dealerships, and sold us a fully loaded, beautiful Hummer H2. We were extremely excited to have this vehicle for all the features including a DVD player for the kids. Much to our surprise, when we got it home we tested out the DVD to discover it didn't work! Yes we should have tested this before making a deal,and have learned our lesson! We did some homework on the truck and discovered the Chevy dealership had record this vehicle was in 2 years ago for the same issue and it was never fixed. Now this means Chrysler Jeep already knew of the problem and failed to inform us before the purchase. When we took it back to Chrysler the service department and management team said they would not pay to have it fixed! Needless to say, we are out a few hundred bucks because of their neglegence. To top it off, they kept the truck for a week and a half AND never once contacted us to keep us posted on any progress. We had to call them everyday to find out what was going on. Sadly we will never buy another vehicle or refer this dealership to anyone all because they couldn't swallow a few hundred bucks to make a customer happy!!!

The dealership is embarrassing, dirty and worn out looking. The sales dept have tables set up against the front windows with no privacy or tools for the sales people to use in the sale of the vehicle. If they need to figure something out they have to run back and forth to the sales dept to find out info which doubles your time just to get a quote. I told the salesman which vehicle and color I wanted. Came back with $12000 down and $400 per mo with excellent credit which I have. If I was going to put that much down I would buy the darn thing. Explained that wasn't what is on the website. He ran back to sales and the manager came out and asked which website I had seen, I told him the manufacturers and the total price for my area on the limited was less than $37000 with a lease less than $500. Sales mgr came back with $4000 down and $542 per mo and price of car was $44000 due to destination charge he said. Sorry dest charge is less than $1000 so where are you coming up with the large increase?While the salesmen were very friendly, I don't think that they were trained in the product , financing or leasing and were overly disorganized. Loved the vehicle but sad that I will have to return the vehicle to this dealership for service. Overall the look and cleanliness of the dealership, the disorganization of sales staff and manager can't save the sale so I will go to another manufacturer.

I've had my car for a month and been having problems since I bought it. The noise I heard on the passenger I thought was coming from the glove box, but as the days progressed it got louder and then a smell like burning rubber, needless to say the axel on the passenger side is messed up. I originally went to buy a new car but bought a used var instead, I trusted them because it was out was bakersfield Chrysler Jeep and I wouldn't get played but I was wrong. If your buying a used car fro.m the buyer beware. I dealed with Martin in Sales and Rommel in financing, I will never purchase a car new or used from them again. The wasn't worth what I paid for AT ALL!!!!!!! The carmaxx print out they have me was wrong, when I went and checked myself so don't believe that either. The passenger flys open all the way and my passenger or I didn't know and hit a parked car when the door went flying open. I know I should have checked out the Jeep better so my fault right? Maybe so but NEVER AGAIN!!!!

They spend your money like it is their money being spent: carefully and necessary. They do not group repairs just because they go together. If the rear breaks need repair, and the front breaks do not, the front breaks do not get repairs. Neither are you surprised when the time comes for the repair. My service advisor, Leticia Perez, told me early. She said the breaks are at 4 points and we like to change them once they get at 3, so I was ready and had made room in my budget to pay for them. They give you so much confidence and trust that you do not want anyone else to work on your car. I drive almost 2 hours one way from Fresno to Bakersfield to get to the people that I trust. When it is all said I done, I save more time and money than the extra 4 hour round trip drive and gas cost me.

I took him for his word when he said that the 2012 Jeep Compass I purchased was equipped with a full sized spare tire,garage door opener, bluetooth capabilities,and Sirius radio package. I did receive a free one year Sirius trial, however, the radio is standard and the trial cannot be used in my vehicle!! There is also no garage door opener, no bluetooth, and there is NOT a full sized spare. While I know I should have checked to ensure I was getting what (I thought) I was paying for I did not. My mistake. As much as DO like my vehicle, I believe I could have LOVED it. Oh, not to mention I had to ask them to wash it twice before it was semi clean and had to take it back 2 days later to fix cosmetic details.

After many weeks of research my wife and I decided to check out a 2012 Chrysler 300S. We drove it and loved it! The salesman was a nice guy, just not knowledgeable at all about the product he is selling (after telling us he just completed an educational course solely focused on the 300). We both learned how to use the features as we test drove the vehicle. He also had no idea that the car required synthetic oil or when it should be serviced (He said 3-5,000 miles, manual says 8,000). He was pushy to get the deal done right now when I said we needed a day to think about it, bringing the typical salesman B.S. of "this deal is only for today." As we left at 7:30, we told him we would think about it and come back, and he said the dealership closes at 8 but he would be there later and to call him if interested to do the deal today. So after discussing it at dinner, we decided we would do the deal today and called the salesman. He had already gone home and it was 5 minutes after 8. After the run-around on the phone that he answers unprofessionally, we decided to drive by the dealership a little after 8:30 only to see other salesman getting in their vehicles to go home. NOW TO THE POSITIVE! Brad the sales manager was EXTREMELY helpful and really good at his job. He bent over backwards to make the numbers work for us (more for trade-in, lower cost of new car) and close the deal. He was very upfront with the cost breakdown which was very assuring. Everyone in the showroom and finance were also very friendly and gave my really busy girls (2 & 4yrs) a balloon which made their day. To them I say "THANK YOU!!" In summary, besides our naive salesman (who is young and has potential to be really good at his job), our experience with Bakersfield Chrysler was great, especially Brad! Hopefully the Service Dept. is as helpful!

I bought a Jeep Patriot 2 days ago. The service was excellent. My wife and I didn't feel like the salesman Jose Garcia was pushy in anyway. Very helpful. Helped us find what we were looking for in a car which was something economical not only for our budget, but on gas. They stayed late into the night to help us while we decided, and then helped us get all the extras we needed into our loan as well. I'd definitely go back for my next car purchase.

It was a childhood dream to own a Jeep so when the time came to purchase my first vehicle on my own I knew where I wanted to go.My husband purchased a 2012 Wrangler in February and the process was painless from ordering exactly what he wanted and having it shipped directly to him. Two months later we were back for me to purchase. Our salesman Peter was patient in showing me several different Liberty's and allowed me to test drive as much as I needed. He shared his personal opinions without being pushy. I visited other dealers and felt uncomfortable dealing with the other very pushy sales people. I finally decided to commit, signed the papers and was just waitng for my Liberty to be brought out to me when there is was... the Liberty that had ALL of the features I wanted and had just arrived back from a test drive. I made a last minute choice to switch! Peter was understanding and helpful in getting me back to finance to re-do all my paperwork. Finance was also friendly and wasn't pushy with all the extra warranties,etc. Overall it was a long day but well worth taking my time and getting what I really wanted!

Buying a car can be a nerve-racking, frustrating process. At least for me. I don't have hours to sit at the dealership dealing with pushy sales people. My experience at Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep, was anything but that. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. I explained what I was looking for and what I needed as far as payments. While I looking around the lot and deciding on a couple to test drive, they were working on the paperwork. When I arrived back from my test drives everything was all but done. I practically just had to sign for the vehicle that fit best to my budget. It was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend visiting Rick Armijo and Peter De Keles at Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep. (Did I mention that my credit isn't top of the line either?)

Frankly, I'm amazed at some of the comments below because this was not my experience with BCJ at all!I came in on October 31st, tired from working all day and burnt out from doing car searches out of town where it seemed no matter how much I wanted to put down they wanted double, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reception I received.PETER DE KELES is not only a bright and funny young man, but very professional and pleasant to deal with. I've been into places where the sales staff is either licking their chops over you or trying to steer you into something you don't want. This was not the case with Peter! He was extremely knowledgable about the vehicles on the lot and not at all pushy or insistent I try anything out that I was not interested in. I told him which vehicle I wanted and after a test drive and credit app I was able to drive off the lot in it, cleaned, fueled up and ready to go. I was able to get a 5 year 100k mile warranty with the vehicle, the price was below blue book, and I brought my finance app (love those things) and determined there were no hidden fees that they tried to slide in which I had encountered in the past. Everything was positive, above board and ENJOYABLE....never thought I'd use that word describing a vehicle purchase!Mirna in finance was also very pleasant to deal with. She was very communicative both in the initial interview and also during the following when they secured financing from the bank. She was always on the phone with me when information was requested and was always available when I called back.I definitely recommend Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep Dodge to anyone wanting a good selection and great customer service!

I am still getting late notices from Ally Bank for the Buick I traded in. I haven't talked to anyone, who has bought a auto from them, that had anything good to say about them.
