Bought my son's First car.

Had a very good experience. Mark was more than fair and accommodating while we negotiated and I came away feeling very good about our purchase. The car was in excellent shape and looked brand new though it was a 2013 model. We shopped several other dealers for a Ford Fiesta and none were as helpful as 2010 Auto Sales. We will definitely travel from Schenectady again when we are looking for our next vehicle.

GREAT CAR, GREAT EXPERIENCE, GREAT DEARERSHIP

First let me say I did this yesterday and it never posted, but I am happy to try again. I had been looking for another car for a few months. My husband found your dealership, and a fantastic car, except for the color, black, not my favorite color. So we keep reading, small dealer, run by the owner hmm mm. Not sure what to expect,but we called. Car sounded great, but my schedule is not the best as I work nights. That didn't matter t to you. Mark offered to stay open later or come in early if that would help. Besides the fact we were 3 hours away. So after work in the am a few days later we called and said we were on our way. To our surprise the car was gorgeous, it was a metallic black, sparkled in the sun like it had gold flakes in it. So off we go for a test, without Mark in the car, what a surprise. Most dealers tag along. Long story short in about a half hour we had financing, insurance, plates, keys, I mean fob, and he sent us on our way with a FULL tank of gas. Now what dealer does this. Are we on TV? Honestly I have never been to a dealer who respects the buyer. Hassel free, willing to work with you, and in front of you, not take the numbers to another room like so many dealers do. I recommend 2010 auto sales to everyone needing a great car, good price and finally a decent salesman/owner. Mark thank you. I love, love my Chrysler 300 S car. We'll be back.

Awesome Dealership-Hidden Gem in Capital District!

In November 2015 I bought a 2011 Cadillac from Mark at 2010 Auto Sales. The entire buying process was very conversational vs "Salesy". There was no pressure, there were no gimick's, just straight up honest conversation about what I was looking for, and why. Mark made the buying process unbelievably simple. The best part about buying a car from Mark is his post sales customer service. I bought a "used" car, and "used" cars have unforeseen issues not related to the dealership. After driving the car for 8,000+ miles in 8 weeks, I noticed a clunking sound under the front end. I was apprehensive about bringing it back because, generally speaking, car dealerships have no interest in seeing you again unless you want to buy another car. HOWEVER, Mark was happy to see me, and VERY interested in fixing the problem...at no charge. Honestly, this is unheard of for a majority of car dealerships. So, in summary: Mark helped me pick the right car for my needs, sold it to me at a very fair price, and provided extraordinary customer service after the sale. Mark is located in Lansingburgh, NY, and trust me, it's worth the trip! Mark is a man of his word....I will definitely buy next car from Mark at 2010 Auto Sales.

on a cold day in January I took my wife out to shop for a new to us vehicle..of the 5 dealerships we stopped at,Mark was the only person to come out and brave the cold to greet us and ask what we were interested in.. I purchased a 2010 Mustang Convertible in June of 2015. Several months later, the fan door, which purpose is to switch from window warming to vent warming became stuck. It would make a really loud noise everytime the car turned on. I called and the owner was very polite, scheduling me in on my freeday. I dropped it off early morning and got it back the same day, hassle free. Overall, I've had excellent service here. It is definitely worth checking out if you are in need of a new or used vehicle.

A great place to buy a car

I recently purchased a Chevrolet Cruz from 2010 Auto Sales and the entire experience was above excellent. The prices, mileage, and inventory were 2nd to none compared to most other dealers in my area. The entire purchase was painless and seamless from start to finish. The owner is a nice and knowledgeable person that is no pressure and easy to get along with. He really had to work to find me financing and went out of his way to provide one of the nicest and easiest car purchases I have ever made in my 51 years. A hidden gem in Troy, NY. Highly recommended!

Quick summary: Quality used cars at fair prices, no pressure sales tactics, a free CarFax report, a six month-6,000 mile warranty included (double the NYS requirement), a full tank of gas, and 4 heavy rubber floor mats added to the car after sealing the deal. What's not to like? The details: Our car was a total loss in a T-bone collision, so we needed a replacement. Our insurance company offers a car finding service with a no-haggle price at participating dealers. Without this service, we probably would not have found 2010 Auto Sales and the Honda CR-V for sale there. First impression - Hmm, not a big dealership. It is located in a re-purposed fast food building, with cars parked in the surrounding lot. What a pleasant surprise--there are late model quality cars lined up in row upon row. We purchased an extremely clean Honda CR-V and had the keys in our hands within hours. The owner, Mark, is personable and knowledgeable about the cars he has to offer. Dealing with the owner of the shop makes buying a car here so much easier than dealing the usual dance of salespeople and managers and closers as you try to hand over your money. If you are in the market for a used car, I highly recommend adding 2010 Auto Sales to your list of places to shop. It is a hidden gem in Troy, NY.

I had a very positive experience buying a car from Mark. Good price, no pressure. I bought a 2011 Honda CR-V. Love it. He gave me a good price on my trade. My wife and I recently bought a 2010 Ford Flex from 2010 Auto Sales. In my original visit to the dealer, I was struck immediately by the relaxed atmosphere there. Mark, the owner, was helpful and not pushy, and quickly got the car I was interested in prepped for a test drive. He offered to let me take the car to my home so that I could make sure we could get our bicycles inside, which was one of our key requirements for a car. When we were ready to buy, Mark made the transaction as simple as possible for us, arranging the transfer of the registration, contacting our insurance company, and arranging excellent financing. We showed up with our plates, signed a few sheets of paper, and drove home. In short, we were treated with respect throughout. When I was negotiating the purchase of the car, another customer entered the dealership and talked for a moment with Mark about a problem he was having with a car he had bought from 2010. Mark asked him to leave the car with them and they would check it out. As I continued to listen to the conversation, I realized that the customer had purchased the car SIX YEARS earlier. It is clear that 2010 Auto Sales is in the relationship business as much as they are in the used car business.

Sturdy with his pricing, but a great honest guy with a lot of trust. Car is still fairly new to me, but as of right now zero complaints. Made the buying process completely painless. I'm an idividual who is in sales, and he does a very good job not making you feel the stereotypical "salesman" pressure. Very fair individual.

Just bought my THIRD car!

I've been dealing with 2010 Auto Sales for at least 13 years. Just bought a 2013 Ford Focus last week, it's a great car, clean and runs great, like all his vehicles. Mark makes buying a used car easy, painless, and fun :) He goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy with their purchase and does a great job arranging financing, and takes care of the DMV paperwork, all I have to do is sign. This is my 3rd vehicle, my boyfriend's 3rd as well, also my family and friends have bought cars from Mark with no problems, I really can't see going anywhere else, Thanks Mark! :)

Friendly dealership with great deals!

This dealer, although small, provides great deals on used vehicles. Since they are a smaller dealer, they do not have the overhead of large acreage, lots of employees, etc. After lots of searching, I found them to be the best deals around and I cannot recommend them enough!

I found a Honda CR-V at 2010 - right off the bat I knew he was a good guy because he was the only dealer in the Capital region who posted the Carfax right along with the online ad - so before I even saw the car I knew where it had been! He had the best price around for this car with only 28K on it! Friendly, made the trade/buying/registration/etc easy-peasy! I would absolutely recommend Mark and 2010 Auto to anyone seeking clean low mileage late model cars. Was well worth the drive from CNY!

Another great car buying experience with 2010!

We purchased our first truck from Mark in 2008 on a recommendation from a family member. (It's still running strong!) We knew we had to start shopping for a new family car but kept pushing it off, until it was too late. We had no idea what we wanted, but knew we needed something. We walked into 2010 on a Saturday morning. It had been about 6-7 years since we last saw Mark, but he recognized us before we could even say Hi and remembered the truck he sold us. We explained that we didn't know what we were looking for, Mark patiently walked us around the lot and told us exactly how many miles were on each car, prices, and the history of the cars; all off the top of his head. We test drove at least 10 cars. Mark had them lined up, and warmed up for us as soon as we were back. It was so easy and kind of fun! (not two words you think of when buying a car!) We slept on it and called on Monday with our choice. The car was ready to be picked up that evening and we took it on our family vacation the next day! Buying from 2010 Auto Sales has been a great experience. We trust Mark completely. He's fair, honest, dependable, with a great sense of humor and - most importantly, just so easy to work with.

I will have to agree with the previous reviews, this was a hassle-free sale. Marc sold me a great suv for a fair price. It was in need of one minor repair and when I called to tell him he said he would order the part and I was to bring it in the next day;no muss, no fuss! Also like the six month warranty and full tank of gas they give. Definitely would trade this a 5 star transaction. Would recommend and without hesitation deal again!

Best car buying experience I ever had

I needed a new minivan quickly as my old one was not going to last much longer. I found 2010 auto sales online. I test drove a van and picked it up 24 hrs later. I was worried about getting financed due to some credit marks left over from a divorce but Mark was able to get me approved and at a better rate than I expected. Plus they include a 6 month / 6,000 mile warranty (awesome) The entire experience was quick, painless and might I dare say for buying a car enjoyable. As others have said, Mark is very laid back, doesn't try to pressure you in anyway and that made a huge difference for me. I hate the high pressure pitches. Excellent Dealership! Wonderful Experience!

I went to 2010 Auto Sales because I was interested in buying a used Nissan Sentra, and they had four available on their lot. I am in the arduous process of repairing a credit that I allowed to momentarily go awry, and hadnt had luck in obtaining a car loan elsewhere despite several attempts. I walked into 2010 Auto Sales and told Mark that I needed a car, had gone through a rough period with my credit which I was doggedly attempting to repair and wondered if there was anything he could do for me. Mark was a personable, gracious salesman who was attentive without being pushy or annoying. He allowed us to look at the cars he had available without following us around with questions and pestering sales tactics, which was an absolute delight. When he pulled up my credit he agreed that it had some dark spots but wasnt hopeless, and said hed do all he could to get me financed. The next day he called to let me know that after some effort he was able to get me financed at a local credit union with a interest rate that was far better than I had anticipated. Mark was incredibly accommodating, taking my request to purchase the car the very next day in calm stride and working to get everything arranged so I could drive it off the lot the following afternoon. His laid-back demeanor, dependable communication and notable effort to campaign on my behalf despite my less-than-perfect credit impressed me significantly. I would highly recommend both Mark and 2010 Auto Sales to anyone interested in purchasing a high quality, beautifully maintained used vehicle. Thank you, Mark, for all of your effort and assistance! I found a car I liked on Cars.com that 2010 Auto Sales had on their lot. I took a drive to Lansingburgh to see it in person and take it for a test drive. We were looking for a used minivan and came across the cars.com post for a Town & Country at 2010 Auto Sales. I emailed the owner, Mark and he got back to me immediately. He was able to meet with us, we drove the car, had him look at our trade in, and discuss a price. I had done my own internet searching for what I felt our car was worth and he gave us that price. He didn't come down off of his price, but it was certainly fair. He offered us the carfax report and took care of getting the car all serviced, cleaned and ready for us. It was refreshing NOT to have to deal with a middle-man, and not feel like we were getting nickle and dimed. The prices on his cars are fair and reasonable.
