I was apprehensive about buying from a small independent lot since I have always purchased new. This was especially true considering we were buying a car for our daughter's senior year in hs that would hopefully take her through her college years. We met with Tim after making an appointment to see a Pontiac g4. Once we got there we ended up looking at several cars since they had so many nice ones on the lot. we ended up with a Ford C-Max. much much more car than what I expected to get for the price I got it for. In fact it's nicer than my wife or my car are. My daughter loves it! They are knowledgeable and felt they were being completely honest with me at all times. Id recommend this place to anyone. The one thing I did not like was Tim would not negotiate the price of the car with me. However once I got home and looked up the vehicle I found out that it was four times more brand new so it was a good fair deal anyway.

I like this place first you can see all the details using the up to date website. David helped me choose the right car, take me old car and the deal was really good without the tricks nor the hassle that usually happen with the car dealers. I got the documents by mail in time, and everything run smooth. Thank you David, I will comeback for my next car.

I found Tim and Dave to be esay to deal with. They both seemed happy to assist witgh my purchase. The don't really neogaite. However, their prices are very fair. highly recommend

Perhaps Tim could have treated me better, but I don't see how. It was quick, he was competent, professional and friendly. I got a great deal and had no - I repeat - no problems at all. I will highly recommend these folks to anyone who asks! Burdette

Purchased inexpensive car for college daughter.

I Purchased an inexpensive car for college daughter. I truly hate buying cars! However, I found 1st Choice Autos very easy to deal with. I purchased a 7yr old car from them. They recently traded it in. The car was not perfect, but it was fine for my daughter going back to college. The car has been fine since purchase with no major issues. Overall very happy with transaction.

Wonderful experience!

They are very easy to deal with. I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape. The Escape is running well 2 months after purchase. The process took about 2 hrs, that included them financing it through Chase Bank at 2.99. Thanks guys, Gary

'Three guys & some cars." Well priced used hybrids

It's a pleasure to recommend First Choice Auto, and I do so often...just again this morning in hearing from a friend that she was looking. We've bought 2 Priuses there and will very soon return for a third hybrid. I told Dave they should change their name to "Three Guys' Auto" to highlight their unusual business model. It makes this dealership enjoyable to work with: No overstocked inventory, no fancy showrooms and offices, just a small lot and office. Little or no apparent office staff. And no sales force but the owners/buyers themselves, who are smart and informative about their cars. No pressure. No 'Labor Day blowout sales." This low overhead model makes for great fair pricing from the start, with little or no need for customer to bargain. Our story: We had already done a good bit of shopping when we arrived at First Choice Auto and selected a used Prius from a number of good options there. For one last comparison before buying, I then went to Sandy Springs Toyota, where we'd bought and had serviced our first used Prius (which unfortunately had been totaled in an accident). The salesman sensed I was comparison checking. He said, "just tell me what you've got. I'll be up front with you." I did so. He said, "I'd go back there right now and buy that car." Further, he said no need for concern about the 21,000 miles on this Prius, because they're very well engineered so as to keep mpg low...hence less wear and tear. We've since bought another used Prius from the 'Three Guys" for our son, and we're about to shop there for a third hybrid to replace our Volvo.

Great experience, very pleased

I've only had my car for about three weeks but I'd buy from these gentlemen again in a heartbeat. I initially saw my vehicle online and filled out the inquiry form on their website. I received a phone call from Tim the following day asking for few pieces of additional information and when I'd like to stop by for a test drive. I never once felt pressured or like I was "just another customer." In fact, Tim actually went to bat on my behalf with the finance company and negotiated a very manageable monthly payment for me AFTER I had told him that I couldn't comfortably afford the initial quoted price. After that, I came in for my test drive and they even allowed me to put down a partial down payment that day, then the remainder three weeks later. When I put the initial down payment in their hands, Tim told me that he was placing all info for my car in the "sold" pile so I would have first dibbs on it. I came back when I told them I would and Dave helped me finalize all my paperwork and handed me my keys. After that, Tim phoned me to follow up and get a couple more pieces of info from me for the bank and I told him that my address changed only three days after I bought the car. Well he asked me to forward him my new address and he'd make sure to get everything straight with the tag office. These guys are first class. Don't waste your time or your money going anywhere else. They're called "First Choice" for a reason. ..

Best for Hybrids

Four weeks of researching and looking for a used Hybrid. I wish I had gone here first. Prices almost always the best and "normal" buying experience. Next time, I will call and let Dave not what I want - f they don't have it in stock, I will wait till they find it - never want to buy anywhere else again.

Best place I have found

I have spent the past month looking at and researching used Hybrids including Prius, Lexus, Ford, Lincoln, and Hyundai. I had 4 vehicles inspected only not to buy them ($'s wasted/well spent). I found Dave at 1st Choice Autos late in the process and he was by far the most helpful and valuable. Most dealers were clueless regarding hybrids and it would have been much easier for me if I did my internet research and then just went to 1st Choice Autos. Online, I found their pricing to usually be the lowest. Next time, I will tell them what I want, let them find it, and just purchase from them. It is rare for me to provide a positive car dealer review but as a small business owner too, I felt obligated to let everyone know that I feel this is a good place that I would shop at again.

2008 Prius --- wonderful to work with!

I recently began looking for a new car. I decided on a Prius and then began looking at "used" options. I read, read, and read some more. I found good prices, good mileage, the right color, etc. Then i read the reviews and changed my mind. Then I found 1st Choice and Tim. They had good prices and good looking cars. Then I was really thrown for a loop - the online reviews were overwhelmingly positive. I was still skeptical. A few days passed and my wife called me into the room to show me a Prius she found on the pentagon Federal Car Buying Service. It was the car I was looking at through Cars.com sold by 1st Choice. That is all I needed to know to be comfortable with this business. You can't rip people off and remain affiliated with Pentagon Federal. I called Tim and made an appointment. He picked me up at the Atlanta airport and within and hour I was on my way home with my 2008 Prius. The entire process was friendly and easy. I even had an issue with the 12v battery within 24 hours of picking the car up (common problem when a hybrid sits for an extended period). Tim took care of the problem quickly with zero hassle to me. I recommend this dealership to any and everyone. My next car will come from 1st Choice, as well. Hybrid Headquarters

1st Choice is a GREAT place if you are looking for a hybrid vehicle. They have more Toyota Prius and Ford Fusion vehicles than any used dealer I have seen, I was in an out in just over 2 hours including a long test drive of the vehicle I purchased. Very similar to my positive experience buying my last car at Carmax.

I had done a bit of research on the hybrid I wanted. Time responded to an email from the Cars.com website I had sent saying that the car I asked about was sold, but they had another one in stock that hadn't gone up on the website yet. Made an appointment and drove out to do a test drive. I worked with both Tim and Dave and both guys were straightforward and pleasant to work with. They gave me top dollar for my trade-in and the entire process was hassle free and, without a doubt, the best car buying experience I have ever had. If you are looking for a quality used car, especially a hybrid, talk to Tim and Dave, I am going to recommend them to friends and family from now on.

This my first experience ever buying a car on line sight unseen but from the moment I first talked to David I had a good feeling. Everyone in my world cautioned me against such crazy idea but I made the deposit on the car over the phone and bought a bus ticket to Atlanta. David picked me up, the entire process was smooth and easy the car the......well, the car is PERFECT!!!! Great Buying Experiance

Found their cars listed on all the for sale sites around Atlanta and stopped by there lot. They were professional and knew there products well. Finally!! The Search if Over!!

As a middle aged woman looking for a good used car I have been stressed about the process for a month. I live in Memphis, TN and we have lots of used cars here and we actually found the right car and dealer in Smyrna, Ga. David at 1st Choice Autos was really NOT what I expected. He is pretty straight forward and told us what he can and can not do. He really knows cars, the makes, their reputations and how his inventory lines up. I feel he was really honest with us and was certainly nice, friendly and really not what I expected for a 'used car salesman' Also, not what I had run into over the past month of searching. We got a car I really wanted at a price I was happy with and we even have a warranty on some things. This car buying nightmare came to a really nice conclusion dealing with 1st Choice and David. Even driving (again) to fine the right car was worth it. I highly recommend this company!! Best dealer for my money

1st Choice is aptly named! My shopping and buying experience with them was by the best I've ever had. Definitely worth the drive from Birmingham to Atlanta. David was informative, knowledgeable and helpful in advance communication and paperwork so that I was able to prepare for my decision before driving over. Before and during my visit, I found everyone to be professional and to exhibit the kind of integrity I wish everyone had. They were indeed a pleasure to do business with, I got a fair deal, and a good automobile at a price that fit my budget. I have always hated car shopping because of the typical experiences and ways that dealers usually do business, so I had put this off over a year. An Excellent Experience!

We recently purchased a used 2010 Ford Escape-Hybrid from David at 1st Choice Auto. It was truly a pleasurable experience. I was immediately impressed with the high degree of trust and mutual respect expressed by David. Although initially, a minor problem with the alignment was discovered while road testing the vehicle prior to purchase: When I asked that this be checked, without hesitation, David promptly had the alignment corrected and available for purchase the following day. The vehicle was clean, in excellent condition and came exactly as advertised. David was extremely personable, honest and straightforward. Finally, the price we agreed upon was very fair. Overall it was an excellent experience!

Great Customer Service!

I did not end up buying a car from them because of fiscal reasons, but I got great customer service! I would recommend buying from them and will consider them in the future when I am financially able to purchase a car!

Great Dealership

Bought a car from First Choice, they were very nice and friendly. Let me test drive the car over night as well as worked with me and my bank to make the deal work, after my divorce. They run a very nice company and treat you right.

They had the Best selection of Hybrids

They had the best selection of Hybrids I have ever seen. They had more Prius then my local Toyota dealership. Very easy to work with. I purchased a 2010 Prius....Love it.

Very Good Experience, first class

very poor ethics-worst car-buying experience ever

My worst car-buying experience ever. I test-drove a car and spent an hour with David completing the paperwork. With the bill of sale in hand, I was told the car was being sold to the person who test-drove after me (while I was working on the paperwork). That customer had not completed any paperwork, but since he "had the key" they were selling it to him. I'm sure it was really because he had offered to pay sticker price whereas I had negotiated a slightly better one. I am shocked and terribly disappointed by the poor ethics of the owners.
