Spoke with staff and had my oil checked when my oil light came on. This was earlier than expected. So instead of just changing the oil they started an oil consumption test. I never heard of this test. This was the return visit and no overt issues identified. My oil level is where it should be. Staff were pleasant and professional. The waiting area is clean and comfortable with some snacks, plenty of outlets, and TV. Thank you!

I took my 2014 Impreza in for an oil change and state inspection. I do not require an emissions inspection because of low mileage. My car had less than 4700 total mileage. It took 2+ hours for service completion. Then, I received an email stating my car was ready for pickup even though I was sitting in the customer waiting area.

Car taken in for service right away. Inspection, oil change, tire rotation. My car is 2 years old and only has 5095 miles. I was surprised to hear that I had to rotate the tires so soon. Cheyne was very helpful in helping to set up my Bluetooth.

In all my years of car buying, I had the best experience at #1 Cochran, Monroeville. So much so that when it was time for my son to purchase a car, I didn't want to go anywhere else. Mike did everything he said he was going to do when we purchased our new Subaru and then went above and beyond when my son was purchasing his used car. From my initial phone call with Christine, to the purchase of my son's car, Mike was with us every step of the way. He would always get back to me in a timely manner - even while he was on vacation. I have bought three subarus here!!! But when I dropped my last one off to be serviced and they said they service it and never touched it.... I was mad I said it is in the same space no paper mats or seat covers!!! Paul the service manager showed me his wedding ring said I am a man of God I do not lie!!! What a two face liar!!! They never looked at it!!! We now take our one Subaru to sendel and I no longer drive one!! Bmw has way better service they drop you a rental and pick your car up!!! Thank you Paul for being a sales man for a different brand by your poor hospitality!!!

Good morning Ron,I am still waiting for someone to get back to me on my Credit for the service that I do not want any more. I paid for a service in May and cancelled it. I am still waiting for my credit back to my credit card. The last I heard was that I needed to sign a form. You can fax me the form to 412-255-6617. Other than that I have no problems with you and the purchase of my new vehicle. I am very pleased with my vehicle, but would like to get this other matter straightened out it has been 3 months. This is the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership! The managers and the sales reps are equally kind, informative, transparent, genuine, and extremely helpful and personable. After having an hour long conversation with the very intelligent and well-spoken salesman who approached me in the parking lot, I was amazed to learn as he handed me his card that he was in fact a manager. This must be a brand new business model compared with the past couple of decades. He shared every detail that I needed to know down to the potential monthly payment. There was no pressure to buy. The numbers were better than the previous two subaru dealers I had dealt with for two months and I didn't have to have anxiety or wasteful time from the "I have to ask my manager" game. What a relief! And what a gift!When I returned to consider the purchase, they even gave me more than I had expected. When does that happen? I was elated! At the end of it all, I worked with the original manager, a really cool salesman, and another manager, who was just as awesome, while signing the papers. All three of them were as professional, friendly, and knowledgeable as anyone could hope.To top it off, I was able to purchase the 7 year extended warranty because of the discount offered and the money I had already saved on the buying cost. I ordered the car on Dec 31st. It was due for arrival on Feb 28th. It arrived on January 31st. Wow! With these past two weeks of winter, I have been nothing short of grateful!Please consider Cochran Subaru for your next purchase!

I have never purchased a car before, and I went into the process very hesitant and unsure of how to go about it. Harry Gosnell was very straight-forward, respectful and didn't make me feel any kind of pressure to purchase. I visited multiple dealers, and all of them, except Cochran, took me on a generic test-drive on a 2 mile stretch of road. Harry, on the other hand, took me on an amazingly fun and informative test-drive that showed the full capabilities of the vehicle I was interested in. David Debruyn, who helped me with financing, was very skilled at explaining to me my various purchasing options and I totally felt at ease in working with these two gentlemen. We visited several dealerships before deciding we wanted to check out Subaru. By chance, we walked into the dealership on a Saturday and were lucky enough to be greeted by Harry Gosnell. He never rushed us or pressured us. We spent a few hours with him specifically discussing the 2015 Subaru Legacy. Our test drive with Harry was the best test drive we've ever had. Both my husband and I had a chance to drive the vehicle. Harry had us drive on hills, over railroad tracks, on rough & smooth terrain. Because of this, we were able to get a better feel for the car. After being jerked around at two other dealers, it was nice to be treated with respect here. My interaction with Larry Hill could not have been any better, a top notch employee as well as an extremely knowledgable car guy. Being that Larry is a fellow WRX owner as well as an enthusiast, I knew my car was in good hands. My husband and I are self-employed with some credit issues and we were very skeptical of our ability to finance a new car. We took our chances and went to Cochran on a Saturday afternoon. Harry and David managed the impossible! They got us financing with a better rate than my credit union quoted us AND we drove out of the dealership with a 2014 Subaru Outback by Monday afternoon. One of the most amazing examples of exemplary customer service was the fact that the gentleman who found us the financing actually went back after we were approved (and ready to sign) and got us a better interest rate than we were initially quoted. Even after the sale was completed, Harry took the time to sit with us in our new car and show us how everything worked before we drove the car off the lot.Cochran Subaru really is the best!

My wife and I had a great experience at #1 Cochran Subaru. I started my car search by calling local dealerships in the area to verify inventory and have an idea on price in order to narrow down the dealerships I wanted to visit. Cochran Subaru was by far the most pleasant to deal with on the phone. They even suggested that I make sure that Cochran was not the only dealership that I visited, so that I could compare prices as well as experience. I did not have a bad experience at the other dealership, but Cochran was definitely a step above. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated with respect and Harry Gosnell helped us purchase the car that we wanted. He gave us all the information on the vehicle and even stayed late with us while he was helping us through the process. He really took a stressful situation, in my eyes, and made it enjoyable. I had the pleasure of working with both Harry and Jeff recently. Last month I put an order in for the new 2015 Subaru WRX. Being that this was my first new car purchase and being a young recent graduate, I was worried the dealership would not take me seriously but both Harry and Jeff were excellent! From the very beginning they were both very professional but more importantly excited about my upcoming first car purchase. Harry explained everything in great detail about the purchasing process and was both very helpful and knowledgable. Jeff was very quick about placing the order with Subaru and even provided me a VON# so I could track my car being built with Subaru. Recently I took delivery of my new car and again everything was very enjoyable. Harry called me as soon as my new car arrived at the dealership and had the car washed, waxed, and ready to go the very next day! At the end of the purchase he was even kind enough to show me how all the new electronics worked in my car including setting up my bluetooth phone, showing me how to program contact information, as well as explaining all the cool new features my new Subaru has. If anyone is in thinking about buying a Subaru or thinking about placing an order in for the new WRX go see Harry Gosnell and Jeff Gessler! I stopped by Cochran Subaru on my way back to my parents for Thanksgiving of 2013, as they had the BRZ I had been thinking about in the color/option level I wanted. I worked with Rich, who gave me all of the information needed, was able to give me more on my trade-in than the other 3 Subaru dealers I talked to, and let the decision up to me. I ended up buying the BRZ that day, as Rich was able to get the price down to a figure that would make me jump (another thing that other dealers weren't even willing to ask their sales managers to do). I also receive email reminders on inspections and oil changes. I have yet to be in for service, as I wasn't able to drive the BRZ much this winter. For anyone looking for a Subaru, I would highly recommend their service.

I had tried a few other dealers in the Pittsburgh area and was pushed towards a sale I did not like. I had moved across town from Cochran, but thought let's give them another try. I had purchased two Saturns off of them several years back. I was very glad to see Anna Johns was still there. She can make your buyer experience very positive. She is kind, polite and in no way a pushy person. She is very knowledgeable about all the vehicles she sells. And if she might be unsure about a question, she will get the correct answer for you pronto.Cochran was giving a great deal. They were selling their Subarus' for lower then MSRP and $1000.00 over Edmund's trade in value on my truck. I wanted a bare bones Forester and Anna did not try to talk me into anything more pricey. She did not talk down to me and did not do any of that, "Well let me take this into my boss and see what we can do." crap. Cochran has this cool policy. It is called "CLEAR CUT PRICING". The price is the price. Boom Simple. She found me the one I wanted and ordered it to be delivered. The day it came Anna could not be there but she had Ron Riggle meet with us and he was a great help. He Made sure everything went smoothly with the sale and even cleaned all the snow off of our car. I can't remember the name of the man who did all the paper work but he was also really nice and friendly. There service is great and they wash your car anytime you bring it in for work. Now that's just nice.

I called ahead of time to ensure the car I was interested in (a 2014 Forester w/ the EyeSight system) was in stock. I got a quick call back from Jeff explaining that it was not but would be in a few days, so we set up an appointment.At the appointment Jeff and Ron had the car waiting out front for the test drive, then Ron and Dave walked me through the trade-in and financing, I signed my name a bunch of times, and I was off in my new car.Bottom-line: they had exactly what they said they'd have, treated me fairly on my trade-in and the price of the car, were very friendly, and, most importantly to me -- there were no surprises, high-pressure pitches for extra warranties, or any of the stereotypical hassles of buying a car. Sure, they have an extended warranty but it was explained to me simply and when I said "No, thanks," that was that.

I was back in the new car market after 23.5 years. I initially was in the market for an Impreza, but Ron and Jeff showed me that I could get a great deal on a 2014 Legacy, and that is what I decided to go with. Ron took me for an extensive test drive which allowed me to see how nicely the car drove. Ron and Jeff answered my questions in a very straightforward manner. The whole experience was very pleasant, and I never felt under any pressure to close the deal quickly. Dave was very efficient in completing the final arrangements. I was very happy with my experience with #1 Cochran. I frankly was not really looking forward to the experience of getting a new car after so many years, but Ron, Jeff and Dave made the experience quite easy and pleasant. I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.

The entire car buying experience from start to finish was enjoyable. Harry gave me a good deal right off the bat and took all the stress out of negotiating a price. The only negative, and it's a small one, was running my car through the Auto Butler. The spinning buffers left a bunch of micro scratches in the clear coat that will need to be polished out later.

I have been a Nissan owner for many years but their Altima's are not very good in the snow. My best friend's son had bought a Outback from Cochran Subaru in Monroeville and loves the vehicle. Ron Riggle was his salesman so that's who I asked for. Ron was very nice and I felt I was given honest answers to my questions. I have never leased before so I had many questions. I was going to take a 42 month lease due to the lower monthly payment, but Ron explained why a 36 month was better. I found an Outback in my favorite color and test drove one. I loved the vehicle. When we sat down to talk numbers, I really wanted to go forward, but the monthly payment wasn't what I was looking for. That's when Ron went to Jeff Gessler (sales mgr) and we came away with a good deal. When I picked up my Outback, the next day (12-17-13), Ron thoroughly went over the vehicle with me. The test drive experience with Harry was one like I never had before! Harry allowed me to experience the performance capabilities of the vehicle in a "live" environment, with ME behind the wheel! At the end of the drive, I was genuinely excited about the vehicle, and it served to validate all the research my wife and I had done that led us to this vehicle. It was also a pleasure dealing solely with the sales rep (Harry), and not having to be "strong-armed" by some sales or general manager telling us what we did or didn't need, which we have experience at other dealerships - and led to our exit with them. This was my first experience dealing with Darla as my service advisor and she did very well. I have factory skid plates under my Spec.B and the last time I was in here for service, the technician used them as lift points and unfortunately they became damaged. I explained this to Darla and made a simple request that they were not to be used this time and to write that on the work order which she did for me and all went well. She earned five stars because she took the time to listen and satisfy my request in an honest and friendly manner.I decided to view the MY14 Forester XT and met with Harry. Harry is a great guy, he is knowledgeable and patient, and when the time to purchase our next new Subaru, most certainly it will be from Harry G at #1Cochran Subaru. I give Harry five stars because of his experience, fun + fulfilling test drives, and although their was pressure, not once will you feel like you want to "just look" around because he helps encourage you to learn more about your investment.When my Subaru was finished in service two hours later, I had another chance to speak with Ken briefly. Ken is the service manager for Subaru and he explained what we have to do to keep the car running well and even gave me a free 'cold' bottle of water for the road. His personality is genuine and deserves five stars.I had the oil changed, a brake-line safety recall performed, and an All wheel alignment performed.The alignment was not done as well as it could have been because the car tracks straight when the steering wheel is pointed at one o'clock(It was straight at eleven o'clock when I came in for service). This is a minor issue not worth any less stars in my opinion. I am positive Cochran will correct the concern for me on my next service visit. That's what great service is all about.Thanks

We cannot say enough about how great a salesman is Harry Gosnell. He was low key and did not make us feel uncomfortable in any way. He was very knowledgeable about our options and answered all of our questions in a congenial fashion. It was a very busy day that required him to juggle multiple customers, but he managed to keep things moving. We bought a 2014 Forester and feel that we got a good deal, including a fair price for our trade in. Cochran is fortunate to have such a fine salesman on its staff.

After receiving the online quote, I decided to come in to see the car & take it for a test drive. When arriving, I was handed off to Matt to show me the Impreza & to take it for a test drive. I told Harry he would have to tell me why I should buy a Subaru because my past three purchases were all Buicks and I really liked a Buick. He went over the motor, and all the safety features before we left. He seemed to know the product he was selling. Then came the test drive.He had me pull out in loose stone, drive fast and then slam on the brakes, once again in loose stone, He had me make hard u-turns, drivefast over railroad tracks, and really went that extra mile to show me how well my subaru would handle. I was sold. I knew the all wheel drive would get me to my destinations in some tough Pennsylvania winter weather. He came very close to the payment I was comfortable with, showed us the shop and detailing garages, and we left with our new 2013 Subaru Legacy. We couldn't be happier!

This shop does good work, but this time, I took my Subaru in for a recall inspection/remedy and oil change/tire rotation that I thought I had the coupon for, but I could only find one for just the low cost oil change ($20). (the person who set up the appointment acknowledged the rotation/oil change special for $40). I asked what the total would be for rotation and oil change before work started and was told it was $42 total. After the work was completed , I had an $88 bill to pay. Apparently $42 was only for the rotation and remount and balance - that re-balance I really didn't need. The rep also stated that I have a ripped axle boot ($25 part) that would cost $265 to repair, or would be just $100 co pay with my warranty, but the warranty hot line was not open until the work was competed for this visit to verify they would cover it. The shop refused to call the warranty co to check and told me to call. I called the warranty co when I got home and they told me the shop has to call and give them a quote for the repair. I called the dealer back and asked if they could do this, they said they would call back to schedule (3 days ago), looks like I'll just take this job somewhere else.

When you go for service from a big company you always worry that you are just a number to the dealership. Throughout my 20 years buying cars at #1 Cochran that has NEVER been the case. Charlie treats me like a friend. Professional and caring. When I told him that my service day was the first day I was leaving my puppy after a major operation he made sure to have my car completed quickly yet thoroughly. I think #1 Cochran Subaru of Monroeville is an excellent dealership to buy a vehicle from. My Sales Consultant was Chris Gordish. He explained everything I needed to know about my new 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek. I couldn't have asked for nicer and better car salesman. I also think Jeff Gessler was a great General Sale Manager. He helped me with trying to figure out a better payment for my budget. Then after I decided to purchase my vehicle, I met with Josh Krach who is the Finance Manager. He went over all the costs and paperwork in detail. I am giving all 3 of these guys a 5 star rating. All of them treated me very well. They were all very friendly and most of all, patient with me! I had high expectations for this dealership from all of the reviews I had been reading. I was disappointed when I wasn't shown Vehicles that matched the criteria I was looking for. Although, the staff was nice enough... I felt more like a number and that my business wasn't as appreciated as it should have been. When I made eye contact with other staff members that weren't working with me, they put their head down and just ignored me. It was awkward. The company offered my 500 below sticker price and wouldn't budge farther than that. This may be a good dealership to work with, but it wasn't for me. I would rather buy from a dealership that appreciates the business.

My wife and I were in the market for a new Subaru before we left on vacation. We visited the Cochran showroom on a Tuesday night(we were leaving for vacation Wednesday afternoon), and test drove a Subaru Forester. We both knew that is the car we wanted after taking a test drive. We first worked with Eric(forgot his last name sorry!), who accompanied us on the test drive. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the features in the car. Eric introduced us to Harry who then joined in the process of trying to get us into the vehicle we wanted. Both worked very hard that night, but we left without a deal due to some financing issues. Harry had handed over our info to Josh in Finance and he contacted me that night saying he was pretty sure we could get a deal done just needed some updated info. After submitting the info to Josh the very next morning, he worked his magic and was able to get us into the vehicle we wanted with payments we felt we could afford. We ended up picking up the car, a brand new 2014 Subaru Forester) at lunch on Wednesday and took it with us on Vacation to New Jersey. I want to commend, Eric, Harry and Josh for working hard for us. They worked with out imperfect situation(trade in that was underwater, not perfect credit) and got us into the car we wanted at a price we could afford, and turned a frustrating experience into a great experience in just under 12 hours. I was in for an inspection, brake pads, tire rotation and oil change. The work was all done in a professional manner. My onlyissue was this, I was charged 20 dollars for the tire rotation. The tires were pulled to do the inspection and replace the brake pads. No extra work was needed to rotate the tires. Other non-dealership garages usually will not charge for this service when the tires are already pulled.All in all the Subaru service team and work was great, deserving 5 stars. I gave four stars for price because the $20 tire rotation charge was unnecessary.

Jeff Gessler agreed to take care of the scratches on my car at my next scheduled oil change, which will be in August. There was some mis-communication about what is actually covered by the Premier Paint Protection Plan II that I was sold when I purchased this new vehicle and while I do now understand that scratches are not covered going forward, Jeff has agreed to live up to what I was informed of at the time of purchase this one time at no charge. I truly appreciate Jeff for being a stand-up guy and hope to purchase my next car from him as well, he is a very nice guy and could probably sell me the Brooklyn Bridge truth be told due to his honesty, credibility and engaging personality. He is the perfect sales manager. I also got to speak with Ken Nutter, the service and parts manager whom I've known for years, while I was there on this most recent visit. Like Jeff, he is the perfect service manager because of his honesty and credibility...the consummate professional in my opinion. In fact, he is in large part one of the reasons I have stayed with Cochran Subaru and the truth is I have had other Subaru customers speak very highly of him to me in the past while in the waiting area when getting service, to which I completely agreed with them.Not to be lost in the shuffle here is one Darla Hill, whom I only recently had the pleasure of meeting in the service department. She is not only very sweet (hard not to be taken by her and that smile) but also very knowledgeable and customer driven. She went out of her to way to make sure I was satisfied with my visit, contacting Jeff for me to save me the trip and taking my car for a wash while I somewhat abruptly had to take an important call in the middle of the checkout process. When I apologized for my unfortunately unavoidable rudeness, she would have none of it and insisted it was no problem and that family matters come first. She is truly an asset to the already great service staff there at Cochran Subaru, including Charlie Dillon, Joe Rosenberger and anyone else that has had to deal with me over the years...which is not the easiest thing to do at times I realize.

Upon arrival, all sales personnel were busy but Harry Gosnell was at the door to deliver a new car to another customer and offered if we didn't mind sharing him, he'd be happy to assist. We just moved to Pittsburgh from NYC and needed a new car in fairly short order. We had shopped around a lot and narrowed to Mazdas and Subarus. After looking at a number of dealers (including another Subaru dealer where my stepfather-in-law had shopped previously), I decided to reach out to Cochran. I knew specifically what car I wanted, so I reached out via Internet sales and worked with Rachel, who not only quickly handled my request, but got me a firm quote that met my offer, and then some. That in hand, we went to the showroom; everyone was exceedingly nice, friendly, and professional. After a quick test drive to make sure all looked good, we were able to put the whole deal together in a very straightforward manner. Matt (salesperson), Jeff (manager), Josh (finance) and Rachel (Internet leads) all worked to make me feel very comfortable with my decision. I had been shopping for a car for about a week and my friend recommended that I go to #1 Cochran for either a new or used vehicle. He referred me to Rocco if I was shopping used or Hyundai; he said Rocco was a down to earth guy and helped with his last two car purchases. I set up an appointment for Monday, but I went in on Saturday to look at some new Subarus first. Keisha was very friendly and helpful and allowed me to test drive a manual hatchback impreza that I had my eye on. I returned the vehicle, we talked about different cars and options and I went home to give it some thought. She told me to stay in touch and email her if I had a specific vehicle that I wanted to test drive during my appointment on Monday. Well, I did some more research and sent her an email and she responded the same day so by Monday I was able to test drive several vehicles until I found something that suited my demands.I cant stress enough how helpful/friendly Keisha was; I am a pain in the neck to deal with when I have to make a car decision. She managed to help me find a reliable car at a great price and at little-to-no hair pulling. Very friendly / approachable. I ended up liking a 2009 CPO Hyundai Elantra GLS Manual and I am so far satisfied with the condition and quality of the vehicle. Also in addition to the extra coverage they offered when I purchased the vehicle they also informed me up front that the vehicle was marked down from the sticker price, which was already close to the KBB value. Some places you have to know ahead of time what the car is worth and then haggle.Also, I cannot remember her name off the top of my head right now, but the lady who helped me with all of the paperwork and insurance hoo-ha was very helpful as well. Answered all my questions and helped me set everything up.Overall it was a great experience: Everyone was in a great mood, everyone was patient and just wanted to be helpful. They tell you that they want to help you by making everything simple and honest (pricing, financing, test driving, selection and customer service) and they follow up with that promise. We had a surprisingly good experience. A few weeks ago, I requested a quote from the dealer's website. They had more than 90 Imprezas in their inventory, and they had exactly the car that we wanted, even though it was still in transit. A day later I got an email with a quote that was better than Edmunds.com's TMV. After dealing with some basic questions via email, we had our first in-person meeting with a sales person. My wife and I feared that we might get the typical run-around and games, now that they had us in the store, but there was nothing like that. Harry Gosnell sat down with us, restated all the information that the internet contact had given us, had us fill out a credit application for 1.9% - 36 months financing, and checked with the finance person. The whole meeting lasted about thirty minutes, and we got exactly what we had wished for. We were approved for financing and left a $500 deposit. Our car should come in within a week or so. If the service department matches our purchasing experience, we will be very happy with Cochran Subaru. So far, so good.

We purchased a new 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek on 2/23/2013. We had a very positive experience with this dealer. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the professional and friendly receptionist, who quickly connected us with our salesperson, Chris Gordish. Chris was very helpful in aiding us in making our decision. We were able to test-drive the vehicle we wanted on two different days before we made the purchase decision. Chris was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and about the availability of the colors and options we wanted. Cochran had a lot of vehicles of this model from which to choose. We were able to agree on a fair price without a lot of stress or back and forth. This was a pleasant, no-pressure experience. We also met with the finance manager, Josh Krach--who was similarly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.This dealer and its employees were a sharp contrast to three of the four other dealers we visited in the two weeks before our purchase. Two of those other dealerships (of a different manufacturer) had no one greet us. At both those places we had to seek out an employee to say we wanted to test-drive a vehicle which we were interested in purchasing. At a third dealership (also a different brand) the salesperson wanted to "steer" us to vehicles we said we were NOT interested in. When we said what we wanted, he told us "they don't make many of those" and did not offer to try and find the color and options we wanted. These people are liars. Told me on the phone they would honor a Feb promotion even though the car I wanted not available until March, but that I had to come before end of Feb. Also told me Jeff would meet with me personally. When I drove across town to get there, Jeff didn't meet with me and only came out later to tell me that it would be impossible to honor the Feb promotion on March buy, which was the SOLE reason I had come. Beginning with an online car builder inquiry in early November 2012 on thru the ordering and final delivery of my vehicle at the end of February 2013 the entire staff was fantastic and attentive. Rebecca Cartney was infinitely patient with endless questions and details before I settled on the vehicle model and options. My salesperson, Shelly Catanzano was attentive and extremely thorough, all the I's were dotted and T's crossed. The ordering and delivery process was smooth and painless and the vehicle even arrived far ahead of the projected date. I had such a positive experience leasing my very first new car here. I was armed with information, knowing that car dealers might try to intimidate, but my experience here was so comfortable that when the deal was done, I couldn't believe how easy they made it. It always seems like I am an inconvenience by showing up. Both visits were on Saturdays and perhaps not enough people work on Saturdays. I arrived late on a friday afternoon to test drive a car(3:45pm,they close at 6pm on friday). After a short wait, Anna had the car pulled up to the lot and ready to drive. The car had recently arrived to the dealership and was still covered in plastic, I like the fact that I was the first to test drive it and I wasn't told to come back the next day because it was not ready. After the very informative test drive I decided I wanted the car and settled on a price. David personally went to the service department(aprox. 5:20 pm) area to see if they could have the car ready that day. They asked if it would be possible to pick it up the next day, of course! It's 5:30 pm and they close a 6 pm. as an hourly worker myself, I don't want the service personal to work over just for me. I enjoy a good relationship with the service department and feel they do a great job. I've never had to return to have them correct something which wasn't fixed right the first time. And the people are always courteous and answer any question I have. The only complaint I would have is that I usually leave the car there the night before because I go to work very early but most of the time they don't take the car in until the afternoon to work on it. This has caused us to make special arrangements because the car wasn't finished that day mainly because a part was not in stock and had to be obtained from somewhere else. And there were no "loaner" cars available.

I purchased by Outback from Rich Earl in 2001 (when it was Bianci) and they serviced it for many years. As the car got older, I tried other Subaru service centers and independent mechanics, but returned to Cochran because they not only fixed it correctly, but had the best customer service.When employees are happy, it shows, and it tells you a lot about the management and the work they do.For these reasons I returned to Cochran and will stay with them as long as my Outback keeps going...hopefully for another 100K miles.

Brought in the car for a Subaru recall. Usually do all my own automotive work but could not do this because of the recall. My WRX has over 130K miles on it so I also had them do a compression test and cylinder leak down test. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable and didnt treat me like I didnt know what I was talking about. Really appreciate that. Would definitely recommend them to others. My husband and I were interested in a crossover SUV since we are expecting a baby in 2013. We love Subaru's, but were exploring other options and spoke with Kathy Arnett of #1 Cochran's Kia dealership in Robinson. After listening to our thoughts, she determined the Subaru Forester best met our needs and budget. I shared quotes with her from several other dealerships. Within a few hours, she called back beating the lowest quote by $100. That evening, we went in and were greeted by Harry. Harry was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He taught us everything about our car, both in the show room and on a test drive. In less than three hours, we drove off with our brand new 2010 Subaru Forester. I've always been leery of car dealers because of the horror stories I've heard and witnessed. I was at another dealer the day before (that advertises "we say yes when other dealers say no.") that told me there was no way they could get me in a lease. I'm really happy that they wouldn't do business with me because I wouldn't be driving my incredible Subaru Impreza. This is my first new car ever. This was really one of the friendliest places around! I was scheduled to drop my Forrester off the night before for an early morning service, but I knew I needed a rental car so I said I would be there at 5:30 to get that all worked out. When I arrived an hour earlier than originally planned everybody was super accommodating and even drove me down to the Enterprise. My car was ready early the next day. I own a Subaru Forester, that the engine decided to stop working on the side of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Although I purchased the vehicle from another dealer, #1 Cochran was the closest Subaru dealer to me. Clay Cova was the first person I met at the dealership and was a tremendous help along the way. He was very thorough, always polite and provided the best service for me. Clay took his time to explain each step of the process, when it came to warranty claims, and he coordinated my rental car with a company off site, that was close to my work. That was something that made a huge difference, due to the convenience for me and my family. Overall, the experience was better than I had expected and will return to #1 Cochran Subaru for all of my service, and future purchases.
