First, Salesman was older, took him 5 plus attempts to input my information & this went on for two days..via phone & in person was even worse! Second, when I finally was offered to Test drive a car, the same salesman, ran into the car wash head on while pulling the car from the lot and bumped the front of the vehicle I was about to test drive & possibly purchase. Crazy! Third, he was aware of small negative equality in my trade in & I wanted to know the deal & offer on my trade in before he ran my credit. He ran my credit first anyway. Then they offered me a ridiculous trade in offer & wanted me to pay out of pocket for the negative equity that THEY decided on. Shocked & upset our time was wasted & terrible experience, we literally drove down to the next car dealership not even a mile away. This dealership was professional, efficient & gave me $2500.00 more on my trade in than CARMAX. Found a better deal on a newer car & they didn't run my credit until we had agreed on all the numbers. That's how you do business! Walked out with a great experience, newer car and only took 1 hour tops of my time! So, NO I Would never recommend carmax!
